Bishop Village Motel

The room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. This is an older motel but the facilities were good. We had plenty of towels and washcloths.there were two televisions and a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. Since we arrived later in the evening our key and receipt were left for us to retrieve.

The coffee maker was up on top of the microwave oven and It was a little difficult to pour the water in because I could barely reach so I spilled water all over both mornings. Also, we had to check the television connections a few times to get it to work. We arrived on a Thursday night and left Saturday morning around 8:30 and never saw any motel employees.

Small, older motel, well maintained ,very clean, comfy bed, very small bathroom and shower but totally adequate for our one nights stay. Off the Main Street so you have no road noise, be sure to use your nav to get you there as it’s a little difficult to locate ,after dark especially .

Everything was fine. We were a late arrival and our key was in a box outside the office door.

The accommodations were excellent, spotlessly clean and the staff could not be more friendly! We will be back and tell our friends to stay here when you go to Bishop because it is just a perfect little gem!

The bed was very comfortable they went out of their way to use extremely comfortable bedding the pillows and sheets were top of the line, the towels were thick and soft and last but not least the pool was warm and clean…the kitchen was well stocked & clean

We've stayed there more than once, and the rooms are all super cozy and convenient. The location also couldn't be easier. It's a no brainer to stay there every time we're in Bishop!

The AC in our room this time was incredibly noisy, and had to be on full blast to make a difference. It was quite hot outside during the day, so it was understandable that the AC was working overtime, but the noise was enough that we had to turn it off once things cooled down at night.

We had a King room (#15) with a nice kitchenette. The room was quite large and, to my surprise, included a small side room complete with bed, dresser and more. The kitchenette had all the supplies we needed and contained a nice table, full-size refrigerator and gas stove. We parked right outside the door in a space that was just long enough to contain my Sprinter van. The motel was one block away from 395 and super quiet with an easy walk to lots of food choices. The staff were very helpful and easy to work with. When my plans changed, Adrianna was even more helpful than the Booking staff. Check-in was easy.

Personally, I prefer quaint places like this and their imperfections become part of the "quaint." If you're looking for major-chain room conditions, other places in Bishop may be better. The bed was a bit lumpy. The paint had scratches and marks, the carpet was stained at the entry and the floor was a bit uneven. The shower had stand-up room only. None of that bothered me and none of it detracted from how useful and pleasant this room was. Some may need to know that the office required a couple of steps.

Quaint family-operated motel, convenient location walkable to restaurants and shops. Friendly staff. Room is dated and small (for 2 queen beds) but clean. Included kitchenette with stove, fridge, microwave. Parking is on-site.

The fridge was noisy, too loud to sleep. It was disconnected at night. Staff was nice enough to give a small refund. Interior walls are thin so TVs can be heard late at night. Ear plugs help if you're a light sleeper.

Location within walking distance to main street. Safe quiet neighborhood off the main street, so less traffic and noise. Family room with separate room was great for kids.

The bathroom. There is no counter space around sink and the toilet was cramped, it is to close to the end of the tub.

Very accommodating front desk person. The motel is quiet and within walking distance of main street.

You can't leave your door open for a breeze since there isn't a screen door...many mosquitoes and little bugs flew in when the door was left open.

Great convenient quiet location.

The carpet felt a little damp and smelled a little musty. Fridge did not get cold and freezer defrosted our ice. Rug and fridge probably needs to be replaced. Other than that it was great.

Super clean, especially for the age. Nice location. Clean pool. Quiet and comfortable. We stay her 2 times a year and I'm always surprised by how clean it is. No stains on the bedding or anything. It's just really a cute pleasing place. Loved the little kitchen.

Bathtub faucet didn't work/only shower. Wish it was laminate or hardwood rather than carpet
