Perfect Location - walking distance to restaurants, the park, farmers market, and old town. The price is great for such a prime location.

The road is a little loud but the location is worth it. We didn't hear any other people in the neighboring rooms. The air conditioner was loud and it seemed to blow directly on the bed. But it was very hot outside when we were there, and the air conditioner did its job.

More than I expected with the name "Motel." The room was clean and comfortable, and the complex seemed relatively safe. There's not a huge amount of options for lodging in Auburn, and this place was more than adequate for my needs as a solo traveler. I went to see a mountain bike race, and the trails were conveniently close to the motel, maybe about a 15-minute drive.

There was a weird little second bedroom that contained only a bed in my room. This wasn't really a negative, except it was kind of creepy because it only contained a bed and nothing else. Again, not really a major downside, just a little weird.

The bed might have been the best Bed I slept on in any Hotel/Motel. very comfortable. it might have been new. I am not sure.

Traffic Sounds at night. sounded like cars are doing burnouts in the car park but its just lunching their cars from the traffic lights on the corner.

Great location in Central Auburn - perfect place to stay if you are participating in any of the many local endurance races that start/end close by. Good bed, warm shower, AC, TV - basic but very reliable. Staff was very friendly - and attentive. Great budget place to stay.

Quite and close to Historical Auburn which was great and loved they had plenty of garbage cans to keep the streets and neighbor hood looking exceptional. - Nor.m

The owners were extremely kind and respectful, they gave all the information upfront so there were no surprises on what was and was not allowed. The price is amazing for the room. I loved having my own parking space beneath my room. The microwave and fridge worked fine. The shower and sink had fast hot water.

The door was a little bit tricky. If you did not push the door with a little extra force it wouldn’t close all the way. My boyfriend had to test it each time we closed the door and made sure that it would actually stay locked. Other than that everything worked fine.

rooms seem to be newly renovated, I’ve stayed in way worse for way more. Hotel owner was very nice, polite and let me park my expensive motorcycle in any spot I wanted.

I don't write reviews for anyone. I mean no one at all. So I wanna just say that I was genuinely surprised when I opened the door to my room; I expected to sleep with my clothes one. I was completely shocked at how well lit the room was, the dimming lights over the bed, and how chic the bathroom was. I'm not sure why you're going to Auburn, but if you end up there for some reason, I highly suggest staying at Elmwood. I chose it for the price, and was absolutely amazed at the space. This should definitely not be taken by face value.

The rooms were all secured with manual lock and key doors, and I mean standard, old-fashioned, run-of-the-mill round door handle, which concerned me a little. All the rooms are on the second floor, and I'm positive that there's no elevator. Without many amenities, I can see why the price is what it is.

Very nice room for the price. Comfortable bed and very clean. Staff was excellent. So many nice extras.

Refrigerator was noisy but nice they had one in the room.

The room was small but accessible. It was comfortable, there was a mini fridge, spacious shower and accessible parking.

The ice machine was broken.
