Nice staff, simple and free parking. Comfortable beds. The accommodation is next to Route 66, close to stores and sightseeing points in Seligman. You can eat with a discount in the neighboring restaurant. If you explore Route 66, it a good place to take a rest here. The pictures, stickers, the shower curtain in the room are all decorated with Route 66 related things/signs. The accommodation is just a 25-30-minute drive to Indian Rd 18 which leads to Havasupai Trailhead.

The lighting in the living-room was a bit dim, but still OK.

Motel with a soul. The place is very clean, nicely decorated, our room was very spacious, bed was very comfortable. We came in the winter and there was a solid heating instalacion to ensure perfect thermal comfort. Right next to the motel there is very pleasant bar/restaurant.

Our check-in was a "specific" experience. I was communicating on booking our arrival time, but I was left without the answer. When we arrived the reception was closed. We woke up the boy with a phone call, he was extremely sleepy and asked me to sign electronically two declarations without showing what I was signing. He was obviously rushing to come back to sleep but I left with an insecure feeling. Also, opposite to other places which we visited, they took a deposit of 100 dollars without informing first.

First, Seligman is all about Rt 66- filled with kitsch stores and the restaurants. May be a less expensive alternate for Grand Canyon to much larger Williams. Most of those places are packed with tourists during the day, but close at beginning of evening, so town has a very different feel at night. After walking the town, this is the ONLY motel here I would stay in here and it was sold out when others were not. Lots of Rt 66 signs, pictures, images, some tongue-in-cheek. We stayed in a room the star of 'Lassie' Jon Provos stayed in. The room was huge, the bed, fridge and bathroom new. 50's look on outside- very comfy bed and finishes in room.

For a large room, very tiny tv, only a small vintage dresser, single seat vintage desk...no second chair, table or other place for partner to sit.

My family were looking to stay a night on the famous Route 66. We found the Historic Route 66 Motel in Seligman, AZ while browsing Booking.com. We reserved the Suite with 2 separate bedrooms tucked in the back. We were not disappointed as everything seemed new and very clean. It is perfect for a family who is seeking a little privacy from one another. The staff were welcoming. Several fantastic historic restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance.

There is no view outside the back room, but one is not there to stay indoors. To clarify, we stayed in the suite in the back of motel so I cannot comment on the regular motel rooms in the front facing the road.

Hotel was confy and very clean in general.Location was also great. On the reditional Route 66 with very nice environment.

The only thing that we did not like our room was backyard of the hotel There is just one room backyard ( room number was 17 or someting like that as far as remember) which was very dark and silience place.Feeling was not safe.I would advise front side rooms which is much more convenient. And also one of the AC in the room was very noisy. To get deposit back took long time comparing other hotels.( around 2 weeks)

This very adorable boutique hotel is done up to resemble the Route 66 motels of the past, and it is done right! Clean and comfortable, with just the right amount of tongue in cheek whimsey. It is associated with the Roadkill Cafe (“You kill it we grill it”) right next door, with a very nice menu and good food, and the local bar, the OK Saloon. So if you need a one night stop over in the middle of nowhere, as we did, The prices are excellent -but reservations are necessary and leave poor Fido at home, no pets allowed.

We received a lovely warm welcome and we were even able to check in a little earlier. The room was great, spotlessly clean with plenty of space, very comfortable bed and pillows, a decent shower and, best of all, lots of Route 66 memorabilia. We even got 10% discount at the Roadkill Cafe next door. An wasy walk took us into the crntre of Seligman to enjoy all the Route 66 delights this town has to offer so we were pleased with the lication too. We'd definitely recommend it.

The only downside was the WiFi. It didn't reach to our room and the Roadkill Cafe WiFi, which we'd logged onto whilst in the restaurant, also sadly disappeared around 8pm when they closed. Ended up standing in the car park near the office in the morning trying to send messages and check other hotel and flight details before checking out. Not disastrous but a little inconvenient.

Clean & comfy rooms in a good motel but with a few extras could be a fantastic motel. right on route 66 but just a little way up from the main attractions.

no essentials - no hair drier, iron, microwave or tea/coffee in reception. 1 microwave for 15+ rooms and was already given out when we arrived. no Wi-Fi throughout duration. 20 hour stay from 3pm until 11 the following day and only 2 coffee pods in room. if you can sort these small issues you will have a fantastic place

Right smack at the Center of Route 66. I absolutely recommend to catch the sunset here. The stay here was convenient and the roadkill cafe serves delicious food! You get 10% off if you’re a motel guest. I recommend spending 1-2 hours in this town. So you don’t have to plan half a day here. Just arrive 5-6pm right before sunset and before the town stores closes. Some of the things we liked: - No bed bugs or cockroaches - Super Safe neighbourhood - Free Parking

beds were a little soft

This is the third time I've stayed at this motel and each time has been great. Just a note, this is a historic hotel and although the facilities have been renovated it's pretty much like staying in a 1950s-1960s era motel, which adds to the charm. That said, I'll be back! (Also, Lilo's Westside Cafe and the Roadkill Cafe and Saloon are just across the street and next door respectively and both are great places.)

Wi-fi was a bit slow and nonexistent on the second morning of my stay. Water pressure in the shower was also not great, but adequate.
