Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Airport North

The hotel is very convenient to the airport, which is the reason I picked it. The room was clean and I really liked the friendly shuttle drivers. I called the hotel when I returned from my flight and they sent me a link to follow the driver as he made his way to my location. That was very helpful. I did have to wait about a half hour which is always the issue with using hotel shuttles as compared with using airport shuttle services.

Booking.com indicates free parking which is misleading. I stayed at this hotel because I was traveling. I factor in the cost of the hotel stay with the parking savings. I had to pay to leave my car at the hotel while I was gone, but it was cheaper than the pay parking lots. Anyway, be aware you will have to pay to leave your car.

Room large and clean, v comfortable bed , 2 miles from airport taxi cost $15 , breakfast was buffet and good selection also given vouchers for breakfast due to airport shuttle not turning up to pick us up

Airport shuttle should have turned up as rung from airport when we landed after waiting 40 minutes got a cab we were exhausted after a 10 hour flight this was not good but Receptionist at hotel apologised and gave us free breakfast vouchers which we appreciated

Very close to airport - we had a car that we dropped off at the airport, which we reached very quickly (7 min); they also offer shuttle service which we didn't need but I imagine that would have been ideal for people traveling without a car. The room was plenty big and comfy; the view was cool especially for people interested in watching the planes come in and take off (ours was floor 6). Parking lot was plenty big with enough spaces. Probably it was the time of year (1st week of May) but we were able to use pool pretty much privately (when we arrived only 1 other guest was there, who then left and we had the pool practically to ourselves). Staff was friendly and helpful; helped us immediately with the wifi. We didn't have breakfast so can't say much about that.

The general feel of the hotel was ok but not what we'd expect for the equivalent money spent on a hotel in Europe. The pool was warm and hygienically probably ok (chlorinated) but not greatly or recently filtered since there was a lot of stuff floating around (bugs, small leaves etc). The area was a bit sketchy - we refilled our tank at a gas station nearby and were immediately asked by some guy for spare change... For the price one would hope the breakfast would be included but that cost extra and even PER PERSON - one would hope for that money it would be good but we just can't say because we didn't get the breakfast (turned off by extra price, didn't want to pay in case it was just a simple breakfast anyway).

The room was large, nicely furnished and had a good ac/heating system.

Perhaps I read the information incorrectly, or didn't ask the right questions, but we were not offered the free breakfast that was supposedly included in our price. We were given a menu of pricey breakfast combos - not what we were interested in nor what we wished to pay for. On our travels, we like to have a quick breakfast (nothing fancy) to sustain us as we travel or seek an adventure. On this stay, we were leaving early that morning for our return flight. It would have been much appreciated to have had a light breakfast for which we thought was included in our bill at check-out.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was great expect the front desk lady that works in the night shift.

One night when I was exiting the hotel from the back door to meet up a friend outside I notice a group of people were hiding at a corner near by the door and I assume they were waiting for somebody to come out so they can go in which they did. When I wanted to go back inside there was a crazy homeless lady standing right by the door blocking it so as soon I was walking towards the front of the hotel, a guy stopped and asked me if I can open the back door for him since his “girlfriend” has the key which I said no. (he was one of the group of people sneaking there way inside the hotel by using the back door) My whole point is I just didn’t feel safe around that area. Sorry.

Room was large and clean. Linens clean. Quiet. Very happy they had a restaurant on site. Had good dinner without having to get back in my car. Thanks for that!! Wasn’t over priced either.

The grounds could use some work. I travel with my dog and I would like more areas to actually walk that are not hard rock and weeds. A relative has Hilton Honors so he doesn’t pay for breakfast or Wi-Fi. If I wanted these things I had to pay.

Anthony, the shuttle driver was courteous and friendly. The food at the restaurant was tasty and well-presented.

My only complaint was I asked an employee multiple times to book my airport shuttle to arrive at the airport by 3am. She kept telling me 3:30 shuttle would be fine. I knew I was probably early but I explained to her that I had a lot of anxiety about being there on time. Even after multiple requests, she refused. The next morning a lovely man scheduled me right away. She may have been right, but it would have been nice if she had listened to me.

Friendly staff and free transportation to and from airport and to any eatery within 3 miles. Accommodates were extraordinarily clean. Cleaning staff available but nearly invisible (in a good way), not invasive or intrusive, very respectful of customers' privacy. Comfort of the bedding and pillows were a bonus. Would like to purchase the pillows.🤗🤭😊😊

Nothing negative to report. Everything was wonderful. The only suggestion that could be made is there should be more wash clothes in bathrooms.

The room was nice and quiet. Carpeted hallways and solid/heavy construction are hard to find these days. This hotel was well-built, so you aren't woken up with door slamming, talking, and other nonsense in the hallways.

I would have appreciated some more creamer and sugar packs with the coffee maker. I felt the price was a bit high for one night. One room key did not work, and it's the one I took when retrieving more things from my car. Had to go back down to the desk to have it reset.

It was pretty clean and the rooms were very spacious..

I came back at 1 am and there was no one watching the lobby… cops had been parked outside a few times before I left earlier that evening but it seemed safe enough but something to consider… especially since I was alone and had just been dropped off by an Uber driver.
