Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham East Flagstaff

the location was great. the room was clean and all staff were pleasant and helpful. we arrived in time for dinner and received a couple recommendations. ‘Fat Olives’ was the Italian restaurant we chose to try based on the recommendation by the person who we registered with at the hotel and I must say, Fat Olives was FANTASTIC!!! best Italian I’ve ever had!! i recommend anyone reading my review gives this restaurant a try! it was a terrific meal. we arrived about 6pm and were seated immediately and received our food extremely fast by their great waiters. I rate this place AAA+++

none. we had room 208 and the only issue was the shower handle’s set screw was loose but I tightened it myself.

it looked excellent.

there is one point for improvement, it is breakfast.

The staff lady Julie I believe in the morning was exceptional. I don’t know why but she was the one dojng everything in the morning of Sat the 9th. If you have one staff member doing everything including stating breakfast then she deserves a raise. Another staff woman came on midway through b-fast but if it wasn’t for the lady in the morning dojng everything and getting us toilet paper and other stuff it could’ve been not as good. She was checking people in out payments b-fast other stuff by herself. Seriously you need to pay these people more if you do this. She was nice and friendly despite it all.

The room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Well maintained property in a good location close to the I40 and Flagstaff Mall. Not far from downtown Flagstaff. Check-in and check out were a breeze. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

The breakfast could have been better. The sausage didn't look like it was cooked. Maybe just steamed or warmed through. We opted to skip breakfast.

After we checked in we found the bathroom sink didn’t drain. The front desk (Kayla) quickly, efficiently, and graciously upgraded us to a different and higher level room. Very good breakfast. Many options, hot and cold. Comfortable bed.

Location. It’s safe, on the edge of a residential neighborhood, but not walkable for anything. A very busy freight train line is about a block away, but you only hear a low rumble as the very long trains go by 24/7. Room not well-lit.

initially, we tried to check into the hotel in the same parking lot but were kindly redirected to the correct building. my initial reaction was that it looked pretty worn down on the outside. inside was another story! I think they had just recently renovated the interior. Everything was new, clean and shiny. The staff was great checking us in quickly. The room was bright and cheerful and smelled new and clean. It was one of the best hotel beds I have slept in-a total unexpected bonus!

The outside looked like it could use some updating and new paint.

We liked everything there, breakfast was good as well. Thank you, my grandchildren enjoyed everything there especially the pool. Location is very nice and quiet.

My only thing was getting on the bed, it was too high up for me. Everyone else wás fine. I'm just over 5 feet and have bad knees and did have some difficulty getting into the bed. Which was very comfortable.

Overall, the stay was exactly what we were looking for. A quick stay in a affordable hotel, and my friends and I appreciated it. The front desk answered all of our questions and helped us a ton. Thanks!

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the bedsheets were concerning. The bed sheets had a few stains, and it made us feel uncomfortable. However, the overall stay was still affordable and what we expected.

Very clean, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, high quality office chair. Breakfast was good, standard hotel fare and several choices. Staff are efficient and low-key. The location is easy to find, near I-40 but not so near that you hear traffic noise. A vehicle is needed to get to points of interest. One pizza restaurant in walking distance. I felt safe in the area.

The hotel is clean, the staff very friendly, and they serve a very substantial breakfast.

We were given a room that was handicap accessible, and thus a "roll in shower". I'm not sure how this is normally handled, but the floor all around the shower was flooded with water, and took half our towels to soak up. In the future, I would specifically ask NOT to have this type of room.
