Harbor 360 Hotel Seward

We had a balcony room overlooking the marina and it was brilliant. So glad we splurged out on it. Watching the marina kept us occupied with the harbour activity (my husband is a skipper of a pilot boat). Room was spacious with comfortable seating. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was very basic considering the cost of the room (ie it was pricey!) but adequate. We only managed to snag one night there out of the four nights we had in Seward as it was booked out all the time. Started looking for a room six months before our arrival in late August. But loved it and it was probably worth it.

Very expensive

The room was not exactly what I expected. I think in the online description it said all king bed rooms came with a microwave and mine did not but I may have misunderstood. However it was not bad as there was a little room down the hall with a microwave and ice machine. The mini fridge stunk a bit like fish but that comes with staying on the harbor lol. The staff were VERY kind and got me into a room very quickly even though I was several hours early. The bed was clean and so comfortable. I'll definitely stay again!!

Only thing was I was dumb and didn't discover how to use the jacuzzi tub until my last day there.

It all started with a warm greeting from Sheree. She was an amazing front desk host. Not only did she do the normal keys and things, but she also provided us with suggestions of her favorite things. Her pleasantries were more than I've experienced in many stays at various hotels. In addition, the room offered a balcony overlooking the mountains. It was nice to sit outside after a long day of travel. In addition, our room was literally connected to the elevator and we didn't hear anything. I really enjoyed this hotel and will definitely stay here again should I find myself in Seward.

Limited vegan options for breakfast. They could add more fruit to the selection.

The location was spectacular and the view was exactly as expected (booked the water side). Seeing other hotels in town, I was very glad I chose Harbor 360. You’ll be VERY close to any fishing or boating excursions. Breakfast was hot and filling to start our adventures each day. The elevator was out but they made sure porters were roaming to help with any bags.

I had hoped for a room with a balcony but only the king rooms had balconies. If this was clearer on the site, I would have booked accordingly and unfortunately there was no availability for a last minute change at check in.

Great location on the marina and you can walk to some restaurants and boat your companies. The staff was wonderful! Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning crew were helpful and friendly. Large breakfast with sausage, bacon and omelettes, along with fruit, coffee, waffles, danish, boiled eggs, yogurt etc

We were there in the off season so we had the pool to ourselves. However, it is small. it said max of 7 people for the pool and 3 in the hot tub so I’m not sure how this would be in peak season.

I loved the breakfast and pool options. The rooms were well taken care of and comfy. Really enjoyed the atmosphere.

I was not a big fan of the check in. When you check in, you have to fill out some paperwork in order to get your keys. The couple before me took way too long because they wanted to go over every question. Another staff member could have stepped up and made the whole process go faster but it feels like that wasn't an option. Honestly being able to fill out the paperwork could have been done online.

Love that it’s right on the harbor. had a decent continental breakfast. close to the SeaLife Center. the room was comfortable and clean. They had a very large group of students check in after we did. The host said taking up 80% of there rooms… so a lot of kids. A few unruly kids made a couple of hours pretty uncomfortable, but when I called the front desk to complain he immediately came to find their chaperones and the kids settled down. there’s always going to be a few in a group that size. I was pretty impressed with how quickly he took control of the situation

I’m happy with the stay

They gave us an early check in since we arrived very early. The rooms are massive. They also took our bags to the train station for us which was a bonus, so we didn’t need to lug them there ourselves. The only small problem was the air conditioning unit was loud making it difficult to hear the television. This wouldn’t have been an issue but the temperature was set at 73 when we arrived and we were roasting.

We asked for a late checkout time as the train we were taking didn’t leave until 6 pm. We stayed until 2pm and it cost us $100.00. Most hotels charge for late check out but I thought $100 for 3 hours was a little much.

The staff were amazing. They left us a beautiful card and box of Chocolates for our anniversary. The room was very clean and the view was amazing. We would stay here again even with the flaws we experienced.

Being the room right next to the elevator. It's seems there was a lack of planning for eggs one morning. There was a large group staying at the hotel and they ran out about an hour into breakfast. The bed was a bit uncomfortable. The vent cover in the bathroom was so caked in grim that the fan didn't do its job. And the WiFi is terrible.

Loved the pool & ample linens. My children were safe and enjoyed the vending. We all took part in the harbor cruise. Great local Alaskan coffee!

There was some confusion about check-in, and I was given keys to different room. Housekeeping staff seemed shocked by the (common, minor) clerical error and could’ve been a bit more professional in their response. But all in all, not more than a hiccup. Front desk staff was always accommodating & patient.
