Hotel Peppers

We had an amazing stay in Torquay and Hotel Peppers was the perfect base. Lovely rooms and lovely hosts. We had 2 rooms close together on the same floor. We were lucky to arrive in time to grab a parking spot behind the hotel. The rooms have everything you need - a kettle, big mirror, complementary bottle of water for each person, coffee/tea, a stand-alone room fan, TV, ensuite bathroom with shampoo/conditioner, shower wash, and hand wash. The bed was very comfortable. We didn't have breakfast, but did have some drinks in the lounge in the evening, Sanjeev took our requests and brought the drinks to us, Good wifi, seats in the decking area to relax in the daytime too. Very clean. An all-round cosy hotel, close to the harbour and town. Perfect. Will definitely stay at Hotel Peppers again if we return to Torquay. Thank you Sanjeev and Sabita.

Absolutely lovely family run business. Soni and Sabi were exceptional hosts, constantly checking that all was ok. Hotel was spotlessly clean, bed comfortable, and breakfast superb! Hosts also gave us an anniversary card and gift for our 17th wedding anniversary, which was a lovely thought! and made our stay even more special". Being able to park in the main car park (permit provided), which meant no tight reversing on the parking bay outside and less risk of car being pooped on or hit/damaged. Sani also offered use of a fridge on first floor landing (albeit shared with other customers) it was appreciated.

Being able to choose which table to sit at for breakfast. The hotel asks you to sit at the table with the corresponding table number to your room, but there were window seats available and it would have been nice to have sat there for breakfast.

Great location and near all amenities, the harbour, shops bars and restaurants. we stayed in the deluxe room on the top floor and the room was large with a very comfortable king size bed. we had a sea view from the side window, tea making facilities and our own fridge was was a bonus due to the hot weather, a fan was also in the room and we also had an Alexa and Free Wi-Fi. the hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was fresh and cooked to perfection. They also had outside decking to sit if needed but we unfortunately didn’t have time to use this facility. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly and could not have done any more for us. We would stay again without hesitation if we were ever ti ti return to Torquay. Thank you for your hospitality. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The couple who run the pepper are lovely. they do everything to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable.

The rooms are lovely.and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast is great and there is a choice off full breakfast or you can have just a sandwich. It's very close to the harbour and town center pubs and restaurants all in easy walking distance. I would recommend the pepper brilliant. Parking in the big car park at the back off the hotel is payed by the hotel with a permit that you are given you to put in your car but the best thing to do is ring the hotel just before you arrive and they will give you all that you need to know before you arrive there.

Great hotel and location, lovely hosts warm and very friendly .Lovely breakfast very filling, hotel very clean has a lovely decking area at the back where we sat and relaxed reading our books,there is also a lovely lounge with comfortable sofas and large television where we watched the women's football. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again keep up the good work Sanjeev and Sabita thank you for a lovely holiday.

Nothing not to like everything was spot on great hosts.

Super friendly host. Advised us where to park to avoid a parking ticket (poorly marked loading bay just up the road). Thought of everything in the room. Comfortable and perfectly clean. Great location just a short walk to harbour and restaurants.

Noisy drunks outside until early morning. But it was a warm summer evening with windows cracked open. We booked because the hotel advertised parking. We discovered that the hotel had only 4 spaces available in a super narrow back lane and it was full. We found the parking claim to be misleading.

The whole stay went very well except for the weather. We were very pleased indeed with our accommodation and the breakfast and dining room were excellent. Also: Our Hosts --Sanjeev and Sabita were most helpful and didid everything possible to make our stay enjoyable and they succeeded admirably !!!! We would have no hesitation in recommending The Hotel Peppers to our Friends and Family. Well done Sajeev and Sabita.

Everything was just right--so no dislikes.

Hotel was spotless facilities excellent and the room was spotless too excellent shower.great for parking and the location was about a 3 minutes from the harbor and bars and 5 minutes to the town centre.The owners were very nice and pleasant. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The only real down side was we thought the room was a little small and you could here the TV and guests in the next room but you can't blame the owners for that

Perfectly located, with parking, family owned and run hotel. Sanjeev and his lovely wife Sabita take such pride in their property and and it certainly shows, the rooms are immaculately clean and have everything you could need, comfortable beds and the lushest pillows along with tea and coffee making facilities. We happened to mention how hot it was on our first night and next day we came back from a trip to find a lighter summer quilt on our bed. Breakfast was very nice, we chose the vegetarian option and it was served piping hot, along with the options of fresh juice, cereal, toast, fruit and pastry there's more than enough choice. I particularly appreciated the fact there wasn't too much of a hill to walk up to the hotel and after a nice evening of wandering the property is literally minutes from the marina so no walking through quiet streets in the dark. We will definitely stay at Peppers again, and can't recommend them highly enough..the standard of customer service and care was second to none..we actually were sad to say goodbye at the end of the week as it felt like leaving family ! Thank you for a fabulous stay.

No negatives at all.

From start to finish our stay was excellent. A warm welcome, Sanjeev lifted our cases out of the car and took them to our room. We were a few hours early and our room was already for us. I am very fussy about cleanliness, the hotel was immaculate Tea coffee facilities are provided, a hair dryer and good quality complimentary toiletries Breakfast was first class, cooked to order and in a lovely room Sanjeev and Sabita could not be anymore helpful Location is perfect, a two minute stroll and you are at the harbour front. Would definitely recommend Hotel Peppers
