Nuthurst Grange Country House Hotel & Restaurant

The food at breakfast and dinner was absolutely delicious. The restaurant staff were polite and courteous. I felt very comfortable, which was important particularly as I was there on my own. The hotel staff were polite friendly and professional. The room I stayed in was fabulous, spacious with a large bathroom and bath. It was spotless.

The room was quite cold even though both radiators were on. When I started to run a bath, brown water came from the hot tap. I telephoned reception who immediately checked out the tap in the room next to mine and found the same problem. They didn't really have an explanation. Luckily, I was able to have a shower instead. The water was fine later. I felt they could have been better about this and perhaps offered me another room or if that was not possible then explain that the hotel was fully booked so there were no available room. Or I could have been offered a discount off my bill.

Beautiful hotel in lovely surroundings, not far from the motorway but very peaceful. Great staff and fabulous food, you’ll definitely be well fed. Room very spacious and facilities were spot on with everything you could need.

Definitely a little on the warm side, and also noticed what sounded like a banging door from somewhere within the hotel from about 7:30 am. Sounded like a swinging door that banged three times each time. Wondered if it was coming from the kitchen but didn’t notice it when eating in the dining room.

We stayed for just one night, our room was on the ground floor near to the bar so it was quite noisy in the evening but was quiet by the time we left the restaurant. The hotel is down a lane, and although you can't see the M40 from the grounds, you can hear it outside, but it wasn't a problem in the room. We really enjoyed our meal in the restaurant - the desserts in particular were incredible! We also loved the breakfast - a continental buffet plus a wide choice of freshly cooked breakfasts.

Checkout is 10am - we'd have liked a checkout of 11am so that we could stay a little longer!

Breakfast service was not great on our first morning. We were a group of five. Two of us were served our breakfast before the others had even ordered. We were very disappointed with this and did complain. On our second morning we were all served together. Disappointed in the fine dining restaurant. We all felt that the food was a little pretentious, and did not live up to our expectations.

This was simply a wonderful hotel. Beautiful surroundings, lovely, friendly staff, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Bath was superb! Breakfast was amazing, great choices and well made. Evening meal was lovely and well presented by great staff. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Just a bit too noisy in bedroom due to something like boiler room or air conditioning.

Excellent value for money, beautiful decor throughout the hotel, the bar was really glam and the bedroom and bathroom were so much nicer than we expected, the pictures online don't really do it justice. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Minor grumbles but the room was boiling, there was a fan but it didn't really do the job. No shower gel or soap in the bathroom.

We enjoyed a wonderful family party at lunchtime & then stayed the night. The staff were extremely accommodating with our large group. The Sunday lunch was very good, served very efficiently & hot. Our room was lovely & provided everything one could possibly need. Last, but not least, the surrounding gardens are superb, the planting clever & the maintenance perfect. We really enjoyed ambling around after our breakfast.

If there is anything at all it would be the traffic noise - which obviously is far beyond the control of the hotel.

We were travelling with our 10 month old baby and the staff could not have been more helpful. Moved our room to a ground floor one, delivered room service silently, supplied a cot bed, high chair ready at the table for breakfast... just little things to make it all so easy. Beautiful property, lovely food, delicious breakfast. We'll be back for sure.

Excellent hôtel. The hotel is very cute, extremely clean and has been upgraded to modern standard. Our room (nb 3) was really spacious with a new and large bathroom. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and I think it is well managed. We did not try the restaurant but it seemed very nice. Great location to discover this part of the midlands.

Only downside is the proximity with the motorway but we could not hear it with one of the windows opened.

I live in dubai and I stayed in the top hotels all over the world this is got to be one of the top hotels I have stayed in its absolutely stunning the rooms are amazing they feel like home and definitely value for money I have booked all the year dates for when i come in UK 🇬🇧 to stay here
