Staff were absolutely excellent. Had an issue with my car on the Sunday and the staff could not have been more helpful. Also remembered my drink order at the bar, which while a small thing is a nice touch.

I really liked the bed, wonderful, soft, I didn't want to get up. Extremely cozy room, I felt at home and well isolated from any noise .... finally a perfect stay. Would definitely go back again. Grade A.

I liked everything, but what made it a little difficult at first was the distance from Edinburgh, but I soon found the right bus and it wasn't a problem. I was enjoying the scenery. Upon waking up, as there was sun in the city, the room was a little too hot, but at night it was perfect.

Had a 2 night stay. Room was great and staff were really pleasant and helpful. Great food ( large portions!), and also a great choice at breakfast. Room was clean, and cosy, and bed very comfortable. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room ( with lovely biscuits too). Had a lovely stay, staff were so nice, and I would certainly stay there again. Highly recommended.

The staff were welcoming and helpful. My room was lovely and large, very comfortable, and spotless. The restaurant was good, too, with spacious outdoor seating for nice weather. The location was quiet and convenient for sightseeing and going into Edinburgh.

Excellent staying in Naavar house. Glenn the manager was super friendly and helped us in everything we needed. The room was cleaned and all the facilities worked perfectly. I strongly recommend this place

The place is about an hour by bus from Edinburgh. So if you are staying as a tourist, it may be a little bit further but there’s a bus stop just in front of the hotel so you can easily go to Edinburgh.

the staff were very friendly, as were the locals in the bar, we felt at home, when our Taxi was late for the Wedding we were attending the receptionist offered us a lift. The Taxi did then turn up. The Breakfast was fantastic value for money. We will return

couldn't get all TV stations, and carpets could do with being cleaned or replaced, maybe background music at breakfast, as it was a bit quiet

Outside the city, near the wonderful famous Rosslyn Chapel. Right on the 37 busline that takes you to Edinburgh or local shops and restaurants. Their restaurant was enough. Really great, the breakfast was perfect. Room was cozy, clean. Staff were all great.

I can't fault them really. For the price and location. Had a Village feel, all the locals very friendly and helpful.

The full breakfast was superb. Well presented and cooked and plentiful. The room had a good selection of tea and coffee making facilities. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Compared to Edinburgh hotels it's very good value. Everything was very clean.

Some aspects of the hotel fabric are a bit tired and need a bit of TLC. The bedding could be better. The room was a bit of an odd shape size.

Spotlessly clean room, bed made and cleaned the room and bathroom in the morning too, really friendly staff and nice and quiet. Location was perfect for a training course that I was attending.

The beautiful building is over 150 years old, so the pipework isn't the best, so the shower was rather weak, can't be helped, but thought I would share!

Convenient location, the staff were great, i was very late checking in due to delayed flights, baggage carousel break downs and traffic chaos due to a serious accident, but the bar manager stayed on to let me in. The breakfast was also great, very filling.
