Wincham Hall Hotel

We planned this trip for the harry potter experience and this hotel was the perfect location and amazing value for money. After a 4 hour drive we arrived to find out the HP tour was canccled, we where both very upset and angry as this was booked for our anniversary however after speaking with Josh he shared our frustation and then suggested some amazing places for us to visit to make the most of our stay Josh is an amazing host and he really made the trip for us very friendly and had some brilliant suggestions for things to do, we will be back next year when we rebook harry potter and hope we can stay here again as the facilitys and staff where amazing. Breakfast was lovely and cozy to eat in the room 100% recommended We look forward to seeing you again.

Hotel was very nice clean and comfortable owner was very polite and chatty on arrival did his best to make us comfortable

Was told the heating was on a timer but when got back to the hotel at 10.30pm my room and the guests with me was very cold and when felt radiator in room 6 it was freezing so not sure when heating came on and went of my mum came back at 8pm and she said her room was also very cold she has to sleep in her PJ's socks and put her cardigan on

I was lucky enough to experience wincham hall in the snow! It was such a beautiful setting with a lovely walk around the grounds! On arrival I was greeted by Ryan the assistant manager who was beyond helpful and very knowledgeable about the hotel and its history. The room was very comfortable and met my needs with a shower and tea facilities. Ryan even opened the bar on request as there is a snug area with a nice fire, it was lovely to have a drink by the fire and watch the snow outside. I can imagine the grounds are just as beautiful in summer once the gardens are in full bloom. I fully look forward to my next stay!! Thank you!

The House and grounds and the location was ideal.The room was large and well facilitated.Bed really comfortable and very friendly helpfull staff.Would definetly stay there again.

Sadly chef was away so had to go out for breakfast,but lots of options close by so not a big problem.

The hotel is in a lovely location surrounded by trees and nature. We were greeted warmly, the room (especially the bed) was comfortable and clean and any requests were sorted quickly. The breakfast was great too and delivered quickly. Would recommend and visit again.

The room was a little outdated.

Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, room very clean and comfortable bed. Excellent value for money and the location was perfect for my needs. Lovely grounds as well.

Decor very dated, thin walls - could hear full conversation between two guys who kept me awake till 3.30am chatting and going in and out of rooms constantly banging doors - not the hotel's fault just inconsiderate fellow guests!

Few marks on the bedding and even though the heating was on the bathroom was cold and radiator was on full ,rooms need a little update with the decor x

Mr Reese is a good manager, - efficient, and friendly.

Rooms are not cleaned and replenished daily. You have to request for extra cleaning.

Ryan! Who is without doubt a credit to the place. Made us feel welcome and comfortable. The room was lovely, warm and had been recently painted. It's an old building with old building problems which Ryan is working through. We will be back next year to see how he's got on.

We stayed here one night on a trip to Chester The owner of the hotel was so lovely and friendly on arrival The grounds were very well kept and in a nice peaceful area. We visited Chester and the zoo, plus the new harry potter forbidden forest attraction. Highly recommended *****
