ibis London Luton Airport

It was adequate for the price and my needs. Well located less than 15 mins away from the airport. The staff was very polite and helpful. The food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced too. Did not try the breakfast on this occasion.

Not a dislike but it would be good if there were shuttles to go to the airport. Even if it's a short distance it could be useful when travelling with heavy luggage.

After a long journey I was over the moon when we entered the Ibis! The room was cozy and clean, the bathroom was superb! The bed was so comfy and well needed after a tiring trip! We liked how everything in the hotel actually worked in comparison to the other 3 hotels we stayed in! Our flight was not till the evening and for a small additonal fee of 15 pounds, we could check out at 5pm! The breakfast buffet was superb! Orange juice, lots of meat for my partner and vegetarian options for myself. Ibis will be our first choice when it comes to booking a place to stay.

We didnt see much point in going to Luton itself, so we stayed in the hotel the whole day! It was much nicer and a better day spent! There wasn't much natural light but hey thats Luton I guess!

Location was walking distance from the airport. Good access to buses and trains to London. There's also a restaurant on site and other meal options within 10-20mins walk. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped with coffee, iron, hangers etc.

Just wish there was a clearer sign of the reception at night. We walked inside and ended up at the bar counter and spoke to a bar tender (who wasn't too happy with our questions) without realising the reception was to the right. This was because there wasn't any clear board stating that it was the reception. We thought the reception was inside So... it might be a good idea to have more noticible sign boards for customers to know unmistakably where the reception is...and where the reception ends and the bar begins... Also perhaps a notice stating that we should speak only to reception staff for reception related inquiries and not to the bar attendants even though they work at the same location.

Clean and conveniently close to the terminal

Friendly welcome from staff who were busy serving at the bar when I walked in but acknowledged I was there with a nod, smile, and a "be with you in a minute" . Smooth easy check in. Compact but fully functional room, very comfortable bed. Soundproofing was as good as you can get; I had a 3am schedule and went to sleep around 8.30pm and only woke up once by a door shutting. Can't comment on the shower as didn't have one but all you needed was there including gels and plenty of towels and toilet roll (for the toilet, not the shower 😉) It's around a 10 minute easy and straightforward walk to the airport, give yourself 15mins if you're up before dawn and the muscles are still limbering up.

Great breakfast selection, plenty big enough bar and seating area, staff were friendly and the room was a great size

The choice of music in the lobby/bar area for breakfast or anytime was immensely inappropriate, I don't get offended but some would have found the music choice very disturbing, to sit and enjoy breakfast at 7am hearing the n word, blap ting, innit brav, where the guy in the song has his hand on his body, might seem funny, but highly inappropriate for the location and time of day, or maybe I'm old! Who knows?! But not what we wanted to hear as we sipped our Earl Grey tea and ate our wholemeal toast, like I say, maybe I'm old!

This must be first choice for travellers. My flights late night OR take off early morning. Night arrival and bouncy blond receptionist nothing too much. Freezing outside. Hot tomato soup quickly warmed me up. While everything is 'basic', its all there. Electric appliances, special (and extra if required) bedding. King size bath tub to submerge into, and soak away the grime of a hard days work in London. 10 minutes walk (briskly) to airport, but by the time to go you are well fortified with a good solid breakfast. If the eggs are 'cool' and have stood too long, ask for fresh. This is a budget hotel not the Ritz but they DO try to give you the service of a 5* hotel. Its only a tiny reception and half the day no one is checking in so if you arrive and there's a queue of 5 or more, chill, drop your luggage, have a beer (or a tomato soup) 😄 you won't find a better home from home good times and difficult times. I once had a major problem. They used to have a left luggage (no more) and I couldn't get back for nearly a year when I normally stayed every 6 weeks. On my return to left luggage I reached for the door handle and...... I just found a brick wall! In my absence the hotel had been restructured my clothes leaving with the old brickwork! I managed to list my winter clothes and produce some receipts. Embarrassment all round me for leaving belongings so long, the hotel for not checking thrown aways more carefully. In the end a most generous cash and credit combination and as this was many years ago I must have stayed more than 50 nights since 🙂 Happiness for everyone.

As close to the airport as realistically possible without actually being on the run way. Ten minutes walking from the terminal or a bus every 10 mins which for adults was £2.80 I recall. Restaurant within the hotel opening at five pm for meals like fish and chips, Thai green curry etc etc. Bar in main reception for a beer. Rooms fine. Super quiet. Bathroom small but totally useable and shower spacious ( like a double sized shower cubicle) Beds fine. Pillow fine. Rooms had hair dryer and iron. Tv and spot lights.

We stayed when -6 so even with the heating on setting 3 and Max we found it cool. Thick socks in bed and a hoodie was needed to keep comfortable; but to be fair it was -6.

Accessible from public transport, 100 bus runs from Luton Parkway to just outside and then a 10 minute walk into the terminal so easy to stay the night and catch an early flight. has food and a bar with a patio area outside to sit and have a meal or a drink to relax in. staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms standard, clean comfortable and considering you are on the airport not too noisy to sleep. I would definitely stay here again if I was on a late night, early morning flight.

Hadn't expected much as some reviews has said 'basic' etc, however, easy shuttle run or 15min walk from train station (make sure you leave station from the right exit depending on which you're going for) which was why I chose it. It's so lovely when you go to stay somewhere & are greeted with a smile from people who seem genuinely pleased to see you & are very happy to help! Staff were all busy but aware of waiting customers, cooperative to each other, professional, & answered questions you didn’t know were worth asking - eg they have an allergen list for the menu & physically offered directions for the morning, which in hindsight was much easier than I'd worried about! It's not a posh hotel, but it's clean & quiet, I’m very happy with meal I had, I slept well & would def stay again. (Pic - loved my brave little room!)

Um. The shower could have had better pressure, although it was still ample to wash my hair, & I'd rather it wasn't raining for my 5min walk to airport ;)
