The room was out of the way on the bottom floor, which was good since we had our dog with us. The beds were comfortable, the telly worked well, and there was also a bath in the bathroom with very hot water, which was a pleasant surprise. The location of the property was great as it was right across from the seafront. The property was very good value for money.

Close too the theatre, free parking this side of the sea front, good food.

Pity they didn’t have a seating area outside like some of the other sea front properties.

I didn’t have food so can’t comment on it The room was fine and pleased with WiFi

I only had to push the door of my room. Didn’t have to use the key.

Sea front location, easy access to promenade and attractions, as well as being close to shops and transport links. Bar and restaurant nicely decorated and well priced. The room was simple but had a decent shower over bath. It was good to see environmental initiatives like room checks only without giving constant new towels or excessive cleaning. Squeeze soap also reduces waste such as single use soaps.

Overall, it is far too warm . The heating seemed to be on in the bar and corridors constantly despite it being a hot June weekend. There is no need for any heating at all in that weather. Some air cooling would have been welcome. Narrow creaky corridors, while unavoidable in an old building, could have been lighter and cleaner - there was often cleaning equipment in the corridors for all hours.

We stayed on a room only basis as we were visiting friends who lived locally. For us the location facing the prom was excellent, and the sea view from our room was a nice bonus. The reserved parking was very useful, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The lift is not for the nervous, and a map ( or better signage) would be useful when getting to the car park from Reception. Although there is a pub (as well as the hotel bar) in the hotel, the first night we stayed the pub shut just after 10, and on the second night it was closed. Maybe it’s open more as the season gets going. Just minor niggles, which won’t stop us staying there again, though.

Breakfast was a bit hectic as the hotel was full the staff worked very hard to keep up with filing everything up but it was impossible to be able to keep up so there was several things that we had a small wait to be filled up

Parking was difficult at times. One day our room wasn’t cleaned . Television very annoying as the volume banner was stuck on which resulted in the t.v.being replaced but after we had left. No container for the super tea and coffee so these items were just stuffed in the cups which made it difficult when needing a drink. Bed never made all the time we were there.

My dad kept telling me that he'd seen some reviews about the breakfasts and that they wearnt supposed to be good at all but after having one he changed his mind because every morning they were lovely, all the food was cooked properly, tasted amazing, staff couldn't have done anything more to help with any issues, even when my son spilled scrambled egg on the floor, staff wouldn't let me clean it up and did it for me. I even cut my dogs hair in my room and staff were happy to let me borrow the hoover to clean it up, a Makita as well, I was very impressed.

The bathroom was very compact but still perfectly useable and I would have liked an extra power point in the room for charging phones and tablets, we had to swap the whole room around so that we could use the ones that the lamps were using. I don't have anything else to say against them, not even if I wanted to be picky. I'd definitely go again if I go back to Llandudno which is very possible, we had a wonderful holiday

The location was good for us as near to the site of a transport show on Bodafon Fields and although not in the centre of the town that suited us also as the centre was very busy and noisy due to Bank Holiday festivities held there and we wanted a quiet location. We were still on the seafront with views along the promenade and coast and only 15 mins walk into the centre with the additional bonus of parking availability on the quieter sidestreets around the hotel. The breakfast was buffet style and perfectly adequate for our needs with basic foodstuffs provided without some of the more fancier trimmings which would increase your price paid obviously. Staff friendly and helpful at all times and bar facilities and food available if wanted. We were upgraded to a nice corner room with a view on arrival at no extra cost and didn't mind it was on 2nd floor as there is a lift available. We would stop here again for the reasonable prices offered whilst appreciating that there is ongoing refurbishment and updating to some areas required.

Heating whilst from a good recently installed radiator in the room wasn't controllable due to no thermostatic valve and fitted valve not adjustable and a window catch was loose, both minor issues easily sorted by maintenance and didn't detract from our stay at all and purely mentioned as advisories.

The breakfast was ok, we had to ask often for things to be replenished, we had no opportunity to get pastries, no yoghurts, was low amounts of food in the heat trays. Tea & Coffee could have been served rather than help yourself from jugs, which vanished by 8.30am.

Our body and hair wash was empty in the shower, no bin in bathroom for sanitary products. The plug did not work in the bath so had to remove fully for it to work. There was no seal around the bottom of the shower glass door meaning water went on the floor leaving it wet. Tea & Coffee supplies could have been kept in a basket or tray instead of in the mugs themselves as we had to empty them all over the table.
