amazing location, near Pennington flash and other hotspots. 24 hour reception, the staff were really nice. Bed was comfy and a good size. the view of the field we had from the room.

The bath was stained, not a big issue as we were only there for the night. there was renovation work being done meaning we couldn’t have breakfast. This was not a big issue due to the location. The hot water in the bathroom sink was far too hot and would burst out. We put this down to the renovation work being done. We were not informed prior to our stay that the renovation work was being done. It did not affect our sleep but it would’ve been nice to have the heads up that this was happening.

Comfortable, accommodating, Clean and enjoyed the evening meal and drinks, fairly priced, the staff were courteous for the most part and will definitely return again

There were some confusion initially over the necessity of sugar free for my partner's drinks, throughout the evening it seams that it had been accommodated, however concerns over the last drink of the night being full sugar, her glucose levels were dangerously high when we returned to our room, it seams that the max button is actually full sugar- overall this would not deter us from returning but hopefully they will fix the lines to avoid a repeat incident

If you come here expecting the Ritz you're going to be disappointed. However it's comfortable/clean enough, the staff are brilliant and it's very cheap. Far better than the similarly priced Britannia Hotels. There's also a smart TV in the room which was a brilliant little addition.

It does need some updating, there's a bit of a weird smell in the corridors and the room could have been cleaner. Also some soap in the shower would have been nice. It was also a little bit cold in the room.

I booked for my parents with two dogs and they were put in a ground floor, comfortable room very close to the swimming pool/gym. They were made to feel really welcome and really enjoyed the spacious room and facilities. Having a sunlit swimming pool and steam room AND a gym overlooking made their stay. I visited for a day and enjoyed the facilities too. Down to earth staff, very friendly and helpful. It was actually my dads birthday whilst they were staying and I arranged a surprise cake for him with the reception staff and chef. They were so helpful! Am really grateful for the all the effort they put in to make it a surprise and my dad was really pleased! Cake was good! My parents have stayed in this hotel several times over the years and love going back. The price is excellent for the facilities. Thank youuuuu! All the best, hopefully return soon! x

I've stayed a number of times at the greyhound. Reception staff are always welcoming. The manager is prepared to get his hands dirty and rather than asking someone else to do it he cleaned some mess on the pavement outside. You don't often see that. Comfy bed. Clean cotton as sheets. On request they gave me a nice quiet room at the back of the hotel.

The place really needs refurbishment but it's kept clean

Great value for money room was nice and clean and comfortable bed, bar was good with a nice selection of drinks at great prices, staff are nice and helpful

The rooms are dated and could do with modernizing new carpets could be installed through out the building the lift needs repairing as it was out of order not good if you've had 1 to many the stairs can become challenging! Could do with USB wall sockets

Bargain price. Clean room,, staff friendly. All the normal amenities. Tea, coffee, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Clean, white bed linen and towels. Bed comfy, shower ok.

A bit dated and a few stains on the carpet. A bit of damage to the bath and sink but everything perfectly usable. For the price I paid, I can't complain. A little road noise, but I knew that it was on a busy junction when I booked, so again, no complaints

A budget Hotel attached to a pleasant pub. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room we had (an upgrade on the one we booked) was very large with a comfy bed, efficient shower and tea/coffee making tray. The room was very clean. The Hotel was quiet inside during the night and, with the window closed, there was very little external noise.

The Hotel is somewhat dated but the price we paid for the room reflected this and we were very happy with our choice . It is also at next to a very busy roundabout and therefore there is some external noise although this could barely be heard in the room with the window closed.

The building has seen better days but the room was clean, warm and tidy. Big free parking place and very friendly staff. Restaurant or actually pub is in the same building. Breakfast buffet was good and tasty. For sailors the hotel is only 6 min by car from LLSC and there is also parking place for trailer. Very good value for money.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable. More expensive hotels don't always have good beds but the bed at the Greyhound was perfect. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was comfortable, even if the enamel on the bathtub was worn.

The hallways were a bit musky, and there was a smell of chili con carne in the room, most likely due to the pub being nearby.
