Lovely premises in a lovely area. Very clean and welcoming building. And older building but thats the lovely appeal but is very well modernised. Everyone was friendly and helped immediately with requests. Room was modern, a good size with comfortable beds and good size TV. Wifi available. Room had two fans (stored in cupboard) which was great as the weather got rather hot. There is a little shop/ newsagent just round the corner, very handy. Hotel is local to the main shopping town with only a short 10-15 minute walk through a nice park. (Or by road, or call an Uber or take the bus). Train station only 15 min walk. I will return for sure. Thank you.
I had no issues with the hotel during my stay.

We were attending a Wedding party in Kenilworth and seeing friends so the 3 night stay in this location was chosen for convenience. Bearing in mind that the location is very old, ceilings slope, there are low beams in places and the stairway is exceptionally narrow and steep especially when carrying luggage! Our small room number 3 was basic with a very low doorway but bed was comfortable and room clean. The breakfast served in the main restaurant area is excellent and the staff brilliant.
Unfortunately the bathroom does need updating - it is not well lit, the fan needs replacing as it is not good at removing steam etc and the lights keep going on and off. The hotel was full so a change of room was not possible. We appreciate that maintaining an older property is not easy, but this would become really annoying if the stay was longer.

Breakfast was plentiful but bacon had been cooked awhile - 2 day poached egg hard but I’m being picky. Dinner on 1 night was okay - felt the lasagnes had been microwaved to Vesuvius, But no real problems. Room - ( single room)excellent service as when I arrived toilet continually running and couldn’t be fixed so moved room to a double which was lovely.
It’s an old building and definitely a musty smell in some areas. Maybe possibly alert people to where the room is that is allocated as there was a lot of stairs fortunately I am fairly fit at 74. But 1st staircase a little steep when carrying a suitcase - fortunately mine was a small overnight bag.

The room was a very small single room. I'm a 6'2" man, so my feet were pushed right to the bottom of the bed, and the shower felt very cramped. However, the bathroom and the shower, despite being very small, were very clean, and had a very nice quality shower gel / conditioner available. The desk was small, and to use it, I had to move the tea tray onto the bed. So, I'd say that the room is perfect if you're passing through, or just want to use the room as a place to get your head down. If you're in the single room, it's probably too small to use as a working base if you're there on business. The double rooms looked larger though. The restaurant downstairs was very nice. It was warm, friendly, beautifully decorated, and the staff were particularly nice. Everyone couldn't have been any nicer. Thee breakfast was brilliant. I had a veggie 'full english' one day and eggs-and-avocado-toast the next day, and both were the equal of any 5-star hotel. The parking is restricted, but ample for the hotel when it's not full. There is on-street parking around, but it's only free until 8am. After that you need to move the car. If you do manage to get into the hotel's car-park, it's very tight to maneuver around, and the bays are at an angle, so lots of 18-point turns to get in and out if you're in a larger car. There was one Range Rover (inconsiderately parked) on the first night I was there, and I think I came within millimeters on either side, so had to tuck in my wing mirrors. The area is lovely to walk around, and it's only 10 minutes walk through the park to the rest of Kenilworth, or 12 minutes to walk alongside the roads. If you're arriving after 11pm, there's a note by the front door with a mobile number to call, so make sure you have a phone with you.

As a sole traveller, my goal was to keep it to the budget, thus the choice. But I was pleasantly surprised but everything! Very comfortable sleep, decent shower, my room was cleaned every day, and the breakfast was nice. As cooked breakfasts were included, I opted all three mornings for smoked salmon and poached eggs and they were very good, and cooked faster than 10 minutes which was very convenient for me. Pastries were also fresh and nice. Full English breakfasts on other tables looked very tempting too. And yes, the personnel were all nice and smiling and happy to help. I needed a quiet room, and I asked for it when booked, and they made sure I had it (Room 27 if you ask).

We liked everything about our stay. Hotel was in the lovely quiet area, not too far of a walk from the train station. The room had everything we would need for a short stay and more (for example nice cosmetics in the bathroom, as well as a bath itself). Spotless clean. Very comfortable bed. Could not hear a thing from downstairs, or outside, so slept like a log. Very friendly staff. Fast check-in and check-out. Pub and restaurant downstairs also had great atmosphere and very tasty food and drinks. Great value for money. We would happily stay again!
Could hear fire doors slamming from the rooms in the corridor, as well as people outside of the room, but only during the day, so it didn’t distrupt our sleep.

We booked a one night stay to break up our trip from South Wales to Leeds, we didn't expect to find such a gem tucked away in a place not many people have even heard of let alone visited! From check in to check out we were impressed by the lovely friendly attitude of the staff. When we walked into our room it was lovely and cool compared to the Premier Inn we had previously spent two very, hot, uncomfortable, sleepless nights in - what a relief! It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We decided to eat at the restaurant and the food was very good, unfortunately they were without a chef in the morning so were very apologetic but most guests seemed to take it very well and helped themselves to continental breakfast.
Nothing!

The full English breakfast was excellent, one of the best I have ever had. There was so much on the plate I couldn't eat it all. There was also continental stuff, lots of choice. I also had 2 evening meals and they were very nice with good portions. All the staff was very nice. The en-suite bathroom was clean and I had a lovely hot bath. No shortage of hot water.
My single room was very tiny, it felt like being in a box. There was also a mark on the sheets (possibly ink?). No USB sockets so I had to charge my phone using the TV. When I arrived, I tried to call to find out where the parking was, but there was an answering machine. Fair enough on Sunday evening, but I struggled trying to find parking on the street. Once I checked in, I was told how to get to the car park at the rear of the property. Easy once you know! I think a message should be sent to guests before their arrival, explaining where the car park is. It would save on a lot of stress!

The staff were very friendly and professional. I really appreciated having free parking at the accommodation too. The room was very clean and had all that I needed for a short stay. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, especially liked the croissants. Even though the hot breakfast serving size was a bit small, the breakfast add on was good value given you could also have anything from the continental offering too.
Unfortunately, the single bed was springy and uncomfortable, I would have preferred something more supportive. Some paint touch ups needed on the walls, especially where paint has come off near the door. The small single is quite small, but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Would have liked freshly made tea (or coffee) in a pot on my table at breakfast rather than having to go to the buffet table for each refill or hot drop.

Nice location, nice pub, friendly staff, rooms a little dated but clean and tidy. Good food.
Parking available if you get there early enough. We had a 3 hour drive in the snow, arrived around 9pm and had nowhere to park as the car park was full. No availability out front and only option was to park in local car park down the road and pay. Luckily a space became available outside a local residents house on route to the local car park. The next day arriving back at 5om meant many spaces were available. There are likely more rooms than parking spaces as the car park is intended to be used for those staying overnight.
