Food was excellent Landlord and land lady were excellent hosts and the locals who frequent this public house are not any cause for concern i.e. guests will not be made to feel uncomfortable Location was perfect for my reasons for being in the area

The shower over bath tub arrangement in the room was difficult to use, removal of the bath tub and a dedicated shower cubicle installation would be better

A wonderful, authentic old Free House, with the best dinner had in weeks. Lovely and attentive owner and staff. Fantastic rural location right near a 13th c cathedral.

The only reason not a complete rave: the bed was very soft on one side, the fire alert light was very bright all night which kept us awake a bit. Breakfast was disappointing following the spectacular dinner the night before. Still highly recommended.

Trisha was an absolute sweetheart. Can't thank her enough for going above and beyond to make sure we got to Ragley hall safely when checking out.

The rooms are a little bit dated but it was very comfortable and lovely and clean. They don't do breakfast on Sunday which was a shame but no real issue.

Nice village and nice old pub. Comfy bedroom. Dinner good

Toilet very tricky getting up to the toilet itself, with step just in front of it and it being against a wall. Green overnight light could not be turned off and made the room way to light. Needed to wear an eye mask. If you have to have the windows open in summer it would be very noisy until pub closes at 11pm. We forgot it was both FA Cup day and Eurovision on the day we stayed overnight ...but bar did close promptly at 11!!

Staff and food were very good. room was all good, clean and comfortable, if a little tired. Unfortunately I chose to stay on an extremely busy Friday evening. Car parking was inadequate and road outside not suitable for overnight leaving so had to re-park late in evening. Also, I had early start next day ,outdoor drinkers directly below my room made sleep impossible until midnight! To their credit the bar staff quietened it all down once i went down to ask, and apologised in the morning as well. A good stopover, but probably best mid week or a wet evening if you want a quiet early night!

The food at THE BULLS HEAD is above average for a pub . Breakfast is excellent and the evening meal was also of a similar standard . The room is quirky , with low ceilings & beams ' but this adds to the character of the building . Parking is convenient .

A bit of TLC to some paintwork is needed , but it would be a shame to over ' modernise ' as some pubs do and then spoil what they already have .

Quirky old building with a lot of character. Very friendly staff and the locals were lovely as well. Very warm welcome, well worth a visit

The bathroom was a little unusual, (never seen a toilet on a plinth before!). The ceiling in the room was also low, could be an issue if you’re over 6 foot tall. This goes with the old building so it wasn’t a huge surprise.

Rooms where excellent and quirky. Staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and very easy going. Arrived late missed the food, but the manager went out of his way and sorted us some lovely burgers. Beer prices are good too.

Pity we only stayed 1 night. But will be back.

Breakfast. A choice of cereal or cooked breakfast. Evening meal was good

Lack of direct contact to confirm booking. Co-ordination between Booking.Com and Bulls Head was lacking at booking stage. It appeared from emails that I could have double booked.
