The friendly welcome from the lovely and helpful host. The room was quite spacious, with tea/coffee making facilities and little extras (biscuits, which we actually forgot about 😕). There was a hair-dryer in the cupboard and a fan too, for warmer months. The bathroom was compact, but had everything you needed. There was free parking and what looked like enough space for everyone.

Nothing! A few minor repairs are needed - the handle on the bathroom door needs tightening up and the shelf under the mirror in the bathroom is not secure. (This gave my husband a fright in the night, when he removed his toilet bag from under it and it fell down!) This didnt detract from our stay, but once these couple of things are rectified everything will be perfect.

I stayed for two nights to attend an event at the Shuttleworth Collection, for which it is ideally located. There was an excellent welcome, with plenty of parking available, and the location is quiet enough to guarantee a quiet night. The room was ideal, with a comfortable bed, very good shower and plenty of room for a single traveller. Breakfast was hot and prepared well, at the time requested. Overall it was an ideal place to stay, and I could not have been more comfortable.

We had a very pleasant stay and rooms were much bigger than we expected. We especially liked to extra tiny room where we could store our things and the bedroom was only for ourselves. The bathroom was very clean. The host family was always really kind and caring.

Breakfast was quite poor, expect the morning that we ordered proper English breakfast. The other mornings was only cereal and toasts, which is absolutely fine but could have been much cheaper.

Location excellent for our purposes. Breakfast was lovely and everything to hand. Very friendly hosts and couldn't do enough for us during our stay.

The booking.com form stated that toiletries were available but they weren't provided. I did bring this to our hosts attention and they didn't know anything about it but kindly offered to go and get some. Therefor something needs to be amended.

The owner's son James came to collect me at local BR station which I greatly appreciated. Everyone was very friendly and made my stay most enjoyable. I stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms which were fitted out nicely and the mattresses/pillows were very comfortable. Showers were excellent and breakfast was a substantial full English. Very good value, would definitely stay again.

Hilary messaged me before our arrival to check whether we wanted a twin bed or double/king. I thought this was very thoughtful before arriving. On arrival made to feel very welcome and checked in super quickly. Went to our room and then paid for our stay and our breakfasts. We were very impressed with the cooked breakfast that clearly was made with local produce, the bacon was delicious. The whole property was lovely and clean and the room smelled lovely and fresh as we entered. A lovely bright room with clean and fresh decor. James was very polite at breakfast and made us feel very welcome. A perfectly hospitable b&b for a relaxing stay. We visited the Shuttleworth Air field for an event to which this property was a suitable driving distance down some lovely country roads. Hilary also recommended the pub a short stroll away called The CROWN. This combined with the lovely B&B made our stay a really pleasant one.

Not a criticism as we know everyone has a different preference, however we found the bed very soft. It didn’t stop us sleeping well however as the house and the surroundings were very peaceful and quiet.

James was friendly and helpful and check in was very straight forward. Room was quite small,but clean,warm with lovely bedding and a comfy bed. Very small en-suite,door banged into toilet when you went in, handle on door loose, glass shelve not secure and no bath mat so floor slippy when wet. Overall was clean warm and comfy and would stay again.we didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment on that

Beautiful house, lovely decor, clean, great shower, quiet, had everything I needed for a one night stay for a weekend course I was on in Biggleswade. Lovely pub walking distance from the b&b for supper. Easy parking outside the house. Friendly efficient welcome. Stayed during heatwave, so a fan had been provided too, which was great.

Excellent hot breakfast and convenient location. The service was very good with the staff attentive & friendly.

No milk with Tea/coffee facility...I had to pinch some from the breakfast area. The curtains would have been better with a 'blackout; backing as the sun shone brightly straight through the current ones making the room very light from 5am.

The owner, James, couldn't have done any more to make us feel welcome. The property was clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again. One of the best B&Bs we've stayed in.
