EVERYTHING! Good was lovely Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location is outstanding. Beautiful views. Beds and duvets were so soft and smelt lovely. A real coffee machine made a great difference.

Vegetarian sausages were potatoe based and would have preferred the fake meat ones. Personal preference and not a huge deal.

The Staff were lovely,and welcoming, the room was very clean and comfortable, the food was great.The location was beautiful.

Although the bathroom was very clean, some of the sealant round the bath needed replaced, along with one or two tiles.

Brilliant location and views. Comfortable room although a little dated. Good pub food.

Breakfast items had clearly been kept warm for too long and weren’t freshly cooked.

it’s in a fantastic location and it’s quirky as it’s a listed building. My room ( Wensleydale) was beautiful, so light and bright. My friends room ( Pen Y Gent) was stunning! The breakfast which is included was delicious and the Sunday Roast the evening before was also lovely. Staff were very friendly.

my bathroom was a little ‘tired’ and the bar area was a little tired and dark. I wasn’t allowed a ( luxury room) as I had dogs so my stay with the charge for dogs was more expensive than my friends luxury suite. however I was told by the lovely head house keeper that I could have had a luxury room. But my room was lovely anyway. Also, having chosen to ‘pay at the property’ rather than the discounted ‘up front’ I was still badgered by emails to pay. lastly the bar in general needs better staffing and stock. They had hardly any choice of wine when we sat down for dinner.

We stayed in Wharfdale which was a very spacious four poster bed room. We also had one of the biggest en-suite bathrooms we've ever had. The accommodation was comfortable with super views, well presented and catered for our needs. The staff were exceptional nothing was too much trouble. They were courteous, friendly and even though they were rushed off their feet, always managed a smile. We booked an evening meal for the duration of our stay. There was a super choice on the menu, it was very well cooked, well presented and came on hot plates as did breakfast - a bonus! We would not hesitate in stopping at The Tennant Arms Hotel again. just a niggle, not a dislike. As we were in the four poster bed room the post was directly in the middle of the TV screen should you happen to be laid on the left hand side of the bed. Perhaps it would be better placed over the mantel shelf.

Really lovely comfortable room. Amazing location with great views from the room. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. Huge bathroom with massive spa bath. The breakfast, although maybe lacking in continental options, was very nice.

The bathroom was incredibly warm as the radiator stayed on throughout our stay despite being turned off. (I’m sure the staff would have sorted this if we mentioned it) Although the bath was amazing, the water pressure is quite bad and it did take almost an hour to fill up the bath (understandably this may just be the area).

The staff were amazing and very professional. Friendly welcome, arrived earlier than check-in, offered to see room anyway and help with luggage. The main meals were of a very high quality and standard. The location is perfect if you wish to see the dales and it was very peaceful and quiet on the night. Great nights sleep was followed by a good breakfast in the morning.

In places, the hotel and bar are a little tried and in need of an update/repaint. However you can see that they are working through this slowly room by room and in todays current climate and the cost of materials and labour this is understandable.

Friendly helpful staff. Location. Large period room with a four-poster bed which was clean. Massive ensuite bathroom.

The whole hotel could do with freshen up and refurbished in some areas. There was a party of ladies, including our daughter, who requested that a continental breakfast be left out for them as they had an early start to take part in the Macmillan mighty hike. At first, they were refused and eventually were given an orange,apple, carton of yoghurt, some jam, Nutella but no cereal or bread or juice. They had paid the full rate for B&B, so this didn't reflect well on the hotel.

An oasis on a wet and windy moor. I needed somewhere to lay my head as I was riding back from Wales and was soaked and tired. I expected little based on the price but instead found a warm welcome, a comfortable bar with a good selection of beers and a good menu. The meal was magnificent and I was well looked after. This extended to breakfast time when the Housekeeper was friendly and professional and the breakfast was great. The black pudding was out of this world! I’d highly recommend this cracking pub/hotel in a beautiful part of the country (albeit wet and cold)

A bath, but that was more about my long day and disheveled state. The shower was superb.
