Best Western Plus Pastures Hotel

The Twin Bedroom was on the Ground level and near the Reception Area where you could have Breakfast and Dinner/Bar if required. Breakfast was very good with a good selection. The Car Park is very close to the Hotel although only 2 Mobility Spaces. The room had a walk in shower with a well maintained bathroom. The twin beds were of a good size and very comfortable. The Hotel has pleasant surroundings in a quiet area, with The Pastures Lodge serving good quality Bar Foods at very reasonable prices. Very helpful and friendly staff throughout. Very Good Value for Money, I will be back.

A bit hard to find even with a Satnav, maybe the Drivers fault though, a sign at the Traffic Lights may have been helpful although it is on Pastures Road, I did find it quite handy for visiting nearby places of interest like Wentworth Woodhouse etc.

Had a room for 1 night on 19th aug 2023, just pulling up in the grounds I was wowed. Absolutely beautiful location and building. Cleanliness of hotel altogether was outstanding. Beautifully decorated and smelt lovely and fresh every where through out. The grounds round the building were lovely and well kept.The staff were lovely and friendly. Very happy and exceptionally satisfied. Breakfast was also a winner, the staff were on top form making sure nothing ran out and tables were cleared. Would 100% recommend and book again. Thank you 😊

Staff attitude throughout the hotel was very good. Breakfast was good with a good choice. Room was clean and spacious as it was the first time we stayed

We had booked for two nights ,we were told to ensure that we put out a service room tag if we needed our room servicing. We did not pay a discounted price for our booking,each night was charged at full nightly rate and in these circumstances servicing should be done as a matter of course and not a special service!!

Large free Car Park. I liked that I was on the ground floor and towards back of building as I asked for a quiet room. Room was amazing, newly refurbed, clean, modern. Complimentary Biscuits and Tea and Coffee and White Stuff toiletries. Large walk-in Shower was really powerful too.

Although I’d asked for a quiet room and they had accommodated as best as possible you can’t account for your neighbours who unfortunately had the music on the tv quite loud until 11pm. Then the last person in my room had set the alarm clock to go off at 2am. Not the hotels fault and I still had a decent enough sleep.

Came here with friends to attend a festival, was quite out of the way from the festival but we knew this when booking. Absolutely amazing stay and will definitely be back, staff were exceptional nothing was too much for them! We ordered takeout to the hotel after the festival and the staff brought it to our room. The room was beautiful, clean and so comfortable! Drinks at the bar were fairly priced and beautiful!

Nice Hotel , quiet location , we used it as an overnight stop on journey to North East . Pub Restaurant adjacent to property served reasonably priced fare with big choice for all tastes . Hotel buffet breakfast great . Plenty of parking . Clean modern bathroom with big walk in shower . 10 minutes off the A1 .

Only minor observation, was bed matress was a bit springy and soft . Felt a bit tired . But another person may find it fine.

I had a twin room and to be honest the mattress was very poor quality, bed creaked and pillows weren’t great - very lumpy. I still slept ok as I was so tired! Walls very thin, could hear next doors alarm go off, every word of what they were watching on TV & people chatting down the corridor & doors banging

Room was clean and tidy therefore a shout out to house keeping who are often overlooked Nice friendly hotel with pleasant attentive staff from reception to the restaurant Breakfast was first class Will definitely stay again

For me the bed was to hard however I note this is a personal view and does not detract from my overall stay The facility, it's cleanliness and the staff could not be faulted Definitely will stay there again

The room very spacious. It was very clean. We were not disturbed by other people. The staff were lovely and friendly. Plenty of choice for breakfast.

The room was very warm, duvets too high a tog for summer. The drench shower head was actually quite painful to use, like needles hitting your skin. The bathroom floor got very wet with water escaping from the shower tray, had to mop with a towel.

Every member of staff was very warm and friendly - top marks for them!! Very clean room with good facilities and a nice bath. The restaurant was excellent - a great new menu with a nice variety of dishes (including more than one interesting vegetarian option). Breakfast was also excellent and well stocked with every item of the hot buffet cooked to perfection. For sure we will be back here. The location is also very peaceful and beautiful.

Would have been nice to have a bigger window and view, but can't have everything :)
