the spa is amazing and the rooms have really cute decor

it costs an extra £20 to use the spa if you book through booking - book direct!

I enjoyed my room had a lovely view of the beach enjoyed the double bed loved the spa

when i first booked it did not say that i would have a single bed only a few day before. i had to pay extra for the double bed and a good view of the beach i felt that as a single person we do NOT get a good deal. when i was paying up for my session in the spa which would have been £20 i was presented with a bill of £71+ i was told that i had a breakfast and dinner charged to my room, i have to say that this was very upsetting to think that this had happened and did take the shine off my time at the hotel.

I really liked the spa which was in smugglers' tunnels and very relaxing. My bed was very comfy and my room was cleaned well. I also liked the location of the hotel, right on the seafront, and the staff were helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

There were a couple of things out of action in the gym / spa. The bike didn't work in the gym and the swimming pool was closed on one day. I would also advise people to look at booking directly with the hotel rather than using booking.com as you have to pay £10 extra per person per day to use the gym / spa with booking.com. If you book directly with the hotel, it is 'free' to use the spa, and I noticed they had some deals where you also get breakfast included in the price. I would have saved a considerable amount of money by booking direct.

This was our second visit, our first having been in April 2023 for one night. This time we booked two nights, so as to take full advantage of the spa. Pro-tip: book your treatments in advance of travel: the spa is very popular with the locals and the therapists get booked up in advance, thus they have limited immediate availability. We were both very happy with the sauna, hot tub and swimming pools and my better half was very pleased with her facial treatment. Another pro-tip: if you have waterproof sandals or flip-flops of any kind, bring them if you plan to visit the spa. The hotel-provided cloth sandals are zero fun once they get wet, but you can buy some flip-flops for £4. All the staff are super-nice throughout. Special thanks to Nadia of room service who gave us new towels as we arrived back to our room from the spa, even though she was dealing with another room. :) If you have dogs, just be sure to mention it when you book, and you will be welcomed very well, with a water bowl, box of vegan treats, and a helpful list of nearby pet stores in case you are short of food or anything.

We squeezed into the 7-10am breakfast slot in the nick of time. This is Brighton, so we went clubbing. Perhaps the hotel could extend breakfast service to 11am? But honestly, that's the only improvement that we could come up with. But if you do oversleep, no problem, becuase this is Brighton. Plenty of options for a late brunch.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is prime; right in front of the beach and within walking distance from the train station and all local main attractions. The room is comfortable and clean, with good amenities and some complimentary treats. The in-house spa (swimming pool, hot tube, sauna, and lounging area) is available for all guests at an almost symbolic price.

Very small details that did not spoil our overall great stay, but if something could be improved it would be the room size. It is a bit small. Enough for the three of us (two adults and a small dog) but was expecting a little bit more room for luggage, wardrobe and general space around the bed. Breakfast produce could have generally better quality (especially coffee) but the price is fair and the quantity is plenty.

The room restaurant and swimming pool was great, priced highly but it felt special so price and that aspect goes hand in hand in guess.

I'm 6ft 4 when leaving the pool and walking down the steps to the changing area I banged my head badly on a low level beam which had no padding or warning sign on it. I wasn't badly hurt but 24hours later I've still got a egg bump on my head from it. If I stay in the hotel again its something I will definitely be aware of. Maybe if the owners see this issue they will resolve it for future guests. Holding my 4 year olds hand walking on the wet tiles is stressful enough without having to dodge hazards.

The location is fabulous. Right in the heart on the promenade, perfect locations to stay with friends or with family members that may have difficulty in walking. As there is a lift at the Hotel to your room level. Also, the hotel breakfast was amazing with variety and healthy options to choose from too off the Menu.

I've stayed at the Hotel a fee ago, used to be any guest staying at the Hotel could use the Spa and Jacuzzi area without additional charges. Now, if you book your room via other booking platforms, you will charged £10.00 to use the swimming pool/jacuzzi/steam & sauna room during your stay. (Unless you book directly with the Hotel)

I had a wonderful 2 night stay. I was in room 108 on the 1st floor. I was attending a convention nearby so I chose the cheapest room which was small but very comfortable. I wasn't intending to spend any time in my room so I didn't mind. It was wall facing but they had cleverly covered up the poor view with gorgeous wooden blinds. You would have no idea where you were. Very clever. Bed was really comfortable. Overall it was a fantastic stay. The buffet breakfast is spot on. I enjoyed it so much. The staff are lovely and helpful. The spa is to die for. Set in the amazing underground tunnels which I didn't know existed complete with iron prison doors. I was totally in love.

Only downsides where there was only 1 plug socket so I had to choose between charging my phone or using the hairdryer lol. In this day and age with all the gadgets we need more plug sockets please! Also the toilet was "bijoux" haha The sink is over the toilet so if you're a curvy gal like me I had to slide under the sink to sit on the loo.

We loved the view from our room. We loved the surprise chocolates. Umbrellas on hand for the rain on exiting the hotel. We got the room we asked for, so thank you for that. Our bath was amazing and fitted two people very well. Lovely big bed, comfortable pillows. Clean room. We didn’t like the free gin in our room. We had hoped for the sherry that we received last year when we stayed, so never touched the gin as you end up having to pay for the tonic cans from the minibar. The iron wire had an exposed dangerous cable (we did report this to Reception) There was no liquid in our body pump in the shower section and in the sink section. This should be topped up for each guests stay. Just the attention to the little details.

Wrote most of this in the above section by accident. We wasn’t able to book a spa treatment or the afternoon tea as it was all booked up sadly. We did enjoy the pool though, however a tad too busy for us. I feel there needs to be a limit put on the number of guests using it at the same time. We also thought breakfast was included in our stay, it wasn’t so we did head out to yummy Leon for a tasty full English breakfast.
