Thistle Dhu Guest House

The breakfast was second to none could not fault it everything we needed was there. The room was comfortable and clean but it is not what the pictures portrayed on the website.

. . The location was central. Not the hotel owners fault but the street was diabolical the 1st morning of our stay there were kids playing out at 6.30 in the morning then on the last night there were 2 groups shouting and arguing till the early hours police were called and got sorted eventually so not much sleep on our last night.. Would we go back probably not but we have never gone back to any of our stays in blackpool as there is so many to choose from in this case it was just the experience.

Felt like she went out her way for us the whole time we were there. Would only recommend staying here to anyone going to Blackpool as you won't be disappointed. Room was spotless. We went out for the day and came back and there was a birthday banner, card and bottle of wine in the room.aa it qas my partners birthday. Was such a lovely touch. Thank you again!

The Property was amazing. It was accommodating to what we needed for a fun leisure weekend. The twin-room we had was clean and was enough space for my friend and I. The lovely lady who checked us in was really polite and very friendly making our stay there instantly comfortable. It was within walking distance of the city centre as well as attractions such as the pleasure beach.

There’s nothing bad I can say about the property at all.

Warm welcome upon arrival and the owner took the time to show us our room. Lovely twin room with tea/coffee making facilities and a tv, towels. Really clean, lovely bedding and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for years. Bliss coming back to it after a few hours walking about. Clean and clearly well looked after guest house that is on a lovely quiet little street. Really easy to find and less than 30 secs walk to the promenade and a minute or so to the Blackpool tower. I came with my child and it’s definitely family friendly plus there’s a well stocked bar for the grown ups. I’d book here as a couple or with a friend too. Highly recommend Thistle Dhu and will be booking here next time we visit Blackpool 10/10 all round.

honestly a fantastic hotel, lovely room, comfy beds, welcoming host, breakfast was fantastic, in a great location to get to everything we wanted to do like karaoke and the pleasure beach, will defently be staying again

Breakfast was delicious, hosts made a big effort for vegetarian breakfasts, hosts were very welcoming and helpful, Hotel was clean, the room was quiet, we weren't disturbed by any noise, we have stayed at the hotel 3 times now and love our stays there, highly reccomend it for people visiting Blackpool.

Comfortable bed and amazingly powerful shower. Perfect location. Jaqui is the perfect host who is most welcoming and nothing is any bother, whatever you need. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.
