The Beverley Arms Hotel

So many reasons to recommend this hotel Great location Superb food and drink ( restaurant, bar and beautiful outdoor terrace. Excellent facilities throughout the hotel But the main reason is the staff and the level of service they provide. Friendly, enthusiastic and nothing is too much trouble. Everyone goes out of their way to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. We couldn't have been made more welcome if we'd been staying with friends. Can't wait to return!

My friend got an upgrade as the room I’d been told she was allocated on the first floor with lift access was not available Staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful - couldn’t do enough for you Rooms were clean and comfortable with extras such as coffee machine, chocolate, biscuits

Small double room just had an open wardrobe rack for clothes which was fine for 2 night stay but I think would have not been enough room if staying for longer Outside terrace area could be improved and made more attractive Not keen on the open plan dining area with reception and route to bedrooms incorporated so that people would be at reception/walking through - fine for breakfast. We preferred to eat in the bar area but it would have been nice to have separate “posher” dining area - just a minor point though

I have stayed once before & loved the room I was in. I only stayed in a “cosy” room the first time but the decor was tasteful and relaxing & the room was lovely so I asked if possible if I could be in the same room as I’d had a great nights sleep & I told them I was staying away to get a good nights sleep. They upgraded me to a “feature” room which was incredible 😀 and I had a mini sleep spray in my room too … it’s the little extras that make a difference & the thoughtfulness that I was staying to have a night away from being up with the kids. Needless to say I slept so well! Thank you 🙏🏻 … the staff were super helpful as before and I had room service this time that was prompt & delicious food

beautiful hotel. The reception and bar areas are lovely. very welcoming. our room was spacious and very comfortable. I love it at the Beverley arms hotel. food is excellent as well

i wasn’t keen on the waiter service at the bar. it want clear when it started and stopped. one minute too could go to the bar for a drink the next you couldn’t. I also wasn’t keen on being chased from the bar by a waitress in front of other guests asking if we had paid the bill. we had. but was embarrassing and my husband was really annoyed. can I suggest you ask for payment upon the Waiters bringing the drinks to avoid this problem.

Room was lovely with great facilities and I especially liked the pillow menu which meant my preference for a firm memory foam type pillow was met. Shower was fab as were the heavy blackout curtains( with a sheer option) Breakfast was delicious. Parking felt secure and is a must in town

Only a small point really but the bathroom was a little lacking towel rail options or a hook to hang a robe. When dining in the evening our tea at the end of the meal was pot of tea for two, which really was too small, so when we requested some more please we were charged for another single tea which is really just one more tea bag….seemed a bit petty.

Good food. Very pleasant staff. Good tea. Excellent environment. Easy check-in and check-out. All staff we met at all times pleasant, polite and very helpful. Excellent location.

It seemed as though the kitchen was short of staff. There were long wait times between ordering food and having it arrive both at breakfast and dinner and staff shortage would explain this. A result of Brexit, no doubt, where our European friends and employees had to leave due to a country which didn’t value them sufficiently. Let’s hope things get better with better leadership for it affects everything.

Also like to take the time to say thank you to reception for allowing us in the room a bit early to grt changed for the races , also would like to thank the lovely lady at breakfast with a nice jacket on . This is our second time at this hotel ! We travel from Chester every year to the races at Beverly and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else . The staff, the Rooms , the service is all 10 star ⭐️ so beautiful.

Good private car park leading on to a comfortable outside area used for drinks and eating. Efficient reception. Comfortable bedroom with good drink making facilities and nice biscuits etc Good comfortable restaurant and kitchen run by people who new what they were doing. Although I had a table reservation for Sunday night the kitchen were still serving the Sunday roast menu, to compliment the a la carte menu. This was the best Sunday roast I have had in a long time not only in quality but in quantity.

Bedroom at the end of a long corridor, which was a bit of a hike from reception / dining room. No where to place and open my suitcase.

Great location. Beautiful rooms. Complimentary water and chocolate bar. Great tea and coffee making facilities. Huge, comfortable bed, nice crisp bed linen. Fluffy towels and robes. The white company toiletries are a nice touch. Great bathroom with a shower and a bath tub. The courtyard outside is a great addition to the property. Restaurant inside was really nice too. Was very impressed with breakfast. All the staff were super friendly and helpful.

The outside table service was a little slow, and the food and drinks we had weren’t great value for money.

I had a very comfortable stay. The staff were amazingly helpful - and there were enough of them, which is not always the case these days! The room was lovely, even had a coffee machine! Everything was perfectly clean and all facilities were more than adequate. I ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious - I am a vegetarian and usually get presented with a boring choice, but not here. My ex-husband owns 2 hotels so I have a certain amount of knowledge of the hospitality industry, and I have no hesitation in saying that the hotel is exceptionally well run. This is the best hotel I have stayed in for a long time!
