Old Town Point Hotel & Spa Antalya

We stayed at Old Town Point Hotel for two weeks. I had booked 2 rooms double rooms but the hotel had unexpectedly upgraded rooms to apartment flats with great facilities including a washing machine and a fully fitted kitchen. This was a very pleasant surprise and my family and I appreciated it very much. The staff, most specially Ibrahim, were very nice and helpful. We felt welcomed immediately. The breakfast catered to every taste. There were variety of cheese, bread, Olives and herbs on offer. The hotel is in a great location. There are numerous restaurants and local cafes around in every direction. The street is further populated by numerous clothing stores and grocery stores. It is a 15 minute walk to Mark Antalya which is a rather large shopping mall. The hotel is very close to the old town of Antalya, which has great views. It is only a 10 minute drive away from one of Antalya's most beautiful Beaches called the Konyalti beach. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast - omelets were not included in the price of the breakfast. We paid 50 turkish lira extra for 2 omelets. I think this should have been disclosed at the beginning. I also could not find any non-diary milk. The serial selection was also very limited. WiFi - WiFi connection in the apartment rooms was very weak. It kept breaking up and not connecting for long periods of time. A bit annoying. Room lighting - the lighting in both of our rooms was very poor. We had to turn on lights from the bedroom and the bathroom as well as the light in the living room just to be able to see each other. This needs to be rectified as it is very inconvenient.

The hotel is in an excellent location and allowed us to enjoy what Antalya has to offer with ease and return to the hotel to freshen up, as and when we wanted. The swimming pool is situated inside the hotel, but in an outdoor area and provided a welcome cool respite because Antalya gets HOT! We were upgraded to a triple room and an apartment and very much enjoyed the extra space and facilities, which allowed for greater privacy and a more homely feel which we very much appreciated.

Although most of our stay was great, we were disappointed by the very poor communication of reception staff on our penultimate night and final morning. Our flight was in the morning and we requested an early breakfast. We were initially told packed breakfasts would be arranged for us to pick up on our last night, only for the staff at night to have no idea of this arrangement. We were then told breakfast would be ready for us at 7am but, again, this was not the case and the person behind the reception was of no help at all (staff at night were apologetic and seemed genuine in wanting to rectify their colleague's mistake). This resulted in a very unfortunate and disappointing end to our stay.

Only for the desk manager Onaer this rating got higher, he was welcoming and friendly. Helped us to book our city tour and explained the reasons behind the shortcomings. The hotel is small yet clean and tidy. The breakfast is better than other hotels and the staff are capable to accommodate big numbers of guests.

We booked the apartment and then extra room upon arrival due to the small space. The apartment seems to be in a separate extension of the building so it has different and low quality finishings with no elevator so you need to use badly executed stairs. The apartment doesn’t have a phone so you can’t call the reception or request any services (they provided a WhatsApp number). The toilet seat doesn’t flush although they tried to fix it but it keeps breaking plus we had to go down to request for fix because no phone. The apartment has a washing machine but they don’t provide detergent and it’s not available in near shops so you can’t really use it. No sufficient waste bin except in the toilet. The hotel doesn’t provide tissue paper. However, fair to say that the normal rooms are decent.

The rooms were fantastic, clean and spacious. The bathroom was perfect - shower was hot and powerful. Staff, Mehmet and Önder were very helpful with early check-in, late check out, directions and guidance. They also assisted with arranging lunch packs on the day we were going to leave for tour before breakfast. Location is good, close to Old Town and Konyaalti Beach.

Breakfast could have had more options. No cappuccino today as machine was broken. Pool only opens at 12!

Great value for money. Very friendly staff. Youssef and ibrahim were very helpful, they decorated our room and gave us a fruit platter. Very good location, near taxi stations and bus. The room was clean.

Very basic breakfast. We suggest to add some croissants, pancakes, chocolate. Walls are very thin, you almost hear everything of the adjacent rooms.

everything was comfortable and clean breakfast was excellent, they had a huge variety and not the same everyday

no pool towels quite a bit of street noise, the walls are very thin between the rooms so you can hear quite a bit from the neighbors

There is nothing we didn't like. Friendly staff. Only English speaking staff is limited.

It was a good, spacious and clean hotel room. the quality of bedding and little things in the room was s but higher than what we’ve seen in Antalya before. Nice balcony, fresh and decent breakfast

I could hear a neighbor in the next room, but it was not terrible and I guess, it’s not a rare situation in Turkish buildings
