Anantara Sahara-Tozeur Resort & Villas

Absolutely beautiful hotel, with amazing service from the staff. It was my birthday and the staff, in particular Nizar, made my trip fantastic. They decorated the room and even got me a birthday cake. Nizar ensured that all of our needs were met and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. On my birthday it was like the entire staff knew, as everyone I passed told me happy birthday! Even after we left and had some travel issues, Nizar was only a phone call away to make sure we got to our next hotel safely. however, it can get very very very very hot, bare that in mind when booking during summer months!

Be mindful that the hotel’s rate to be picked up from the airport or bus station was grossly more than local transport. The hotel wanted to charge 150TND, we paid 5TND in a local taxi.

The Resort is only 4 years old and everything was working good. The breakfast was very complete and all the products were top quality or well cooked. The room was very comfortable (we had one facing the desert) with a small patio with seats and a dormeuse. Also we had a great excursion at Mountain Oasis with a guide, Madib, very professional. The Concierge is very capable to fix all your needs but everyone in the staff try to do his best.

We have been in 5 different Anantara resort and our idea is that they apply the "low cost" philosophy: you have your (beautiful) B&B and will pay ( a lot!!) for everything else. No access to the Spa facilities, no free bikes, any kind of free classes or experience, the Restaurants are very expansive and the wine list prices were outrageous (Tunisian wines around 100 € ??!!! I would pay that for Italian or French wines, maybe).

A beautiful resort with amazing rooms, delicious food and the perfect pool. The highlight for us was the amazing staff - Khadija & Marwa who were always welcoming and helpful at reception - Mr Nizar for arranging great excursions to Chebika and the Desert, Ahmet for always being at our service and particularly Shabib who drove our loud group of seven for 6 hours all the way back to Hammamet! Thank you, we will be back!

Beatiful hotel with top notch facilities. We had a pool villa and it was wonderful. The restaurants were good, staff was friendly.

The hotel is not located anywhere in the Sahara dessert. It's probably 2 hours away from the gateway town to the Sahara. This was not clear when booking and a little disappointing.

Very nice facilities & amenities, pretty new. So much attention for details in the room set-up. Exemplary, hats off. Good food & variety of choices. Our stay was so pleasant, we wish we could have stayed longer than 2 days.

The staff are always ready to help. They arranged all the excursions for us and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Right from the pickup at the airport through to the long car journey to the resort and the stay, everything felt seamless and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a lovely selection of local and European food.

Everything was amazing ! The employees were all so professionnel from the concierge Abd el hay to the receptionist to the people working in the restaurant ! wonderful team managed by the best director Mr Wael ! He was always present and so helpful !!!

The hotel is very beautiful and the staff is very attentive. We had a problem with the door in the room and the hotel staff upgraded us because of the trouble. It was a nice stay!

The breakfast is not very varied. The excursions organized by the hotel are expensive (more expensive than initially communicated).

The breakfast was outstanding, fresh juices every morning coupled with international and local choice both sweet and savoury. The staff in the kitchen was very welcoming and helpful, one of the best part of my stay.

I liked everything of my stay!
