Lampang River Lodge (SHA Certified)

Basically everything! The attention to detail on the property is just insane. You arrive down a beautiful path next to the lake, which sets the tone for the magic of your stay here. The rooms are adorable wooden lodges, traditional Thai style, of varying shapes and styles. We loved our room, from the huge bed with mosquito net, to the extra day bed, to the big deck, the sliding doors, and the big wooden key. The pool backs on to the river, and while we didn't have time for a swim, it's a great view, very photogenic. At the back of the property, when walking to breakfast, you cross a huge bridge, walk past turkey-fowl, and enter to the restaurant through the mist. It's like being in a movie. It's special, my only thought was "I wish my mum were here to see this". The food for dinner and breakfast were both very nice. Also, if you're visiting Ko Kha, this is a great location, but for Lampang, you might want to get closer to the city.

The porch light was on where we arrived and loads of bugs were going crazy at our door, then when we came in, there were quite a few lizards in the room. One took a shower with us (he was not invited). The cocktails were weak and overpriced in the evening, and they were not as described.

This place is absolutely incredible. 10/10 our room/bungalow was bigger than expected, the garden and the pool are an absolute bliss. Is You want to feel peaceful and surrounded by an incredible nature go to Lampang River Lodge. We loved it sooo much ! Thank you so much 🙏❤️

We had a wonderful time at the hotel, particularly enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the garden and the warm hospitality of the staff. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking an authentic Thai architectural experience.

The perfect place to relax. Wonderful property among the big trees and garden with a lot of shadow. Perfect pool in the nature. Wonderful outdoor spot beside the river for breakfast, breakfast could not have been better.

The dinner was disappointing. No Thai food.

This hotel has a lovely location amid tropical trees near the river. The gardens and grounds are very well kept. The rooms are full of Thai local character and are simple but comfortable. Breakfast is good served by the river.

The room was very cute and cozy nice decoration for simple rooms (the bathroom was very simple but with the decoration it made it okay :)) it was nice to have the little lake to walk around

This a very interesting property set among really beautiful tropical trees. It has lots of character and is very well run. Everything works well and the restaurant is fine. it is somehere to go if you enjoy a simple place in lovely country.

It was a very comfortable and clean wooden bungalow in a botanical paradise. Great large swimming pool surrounded by majestic trees. Exceptional large well maintained garden with century old trees. Breakfast with river view.

Nothing. The wooden outbuildings are mature and rustic and need some updating

Traditional Thai feel with wooden bungalows around a large pond. Salas for relaxing, a good pool and the sense of being surrounded by nature.

Bathroom was smelly and has to hold the shower head to shower.

The place is beautiful and very quiet. If you want silence, I recommend it.

I want the bathroom to be modernized.
