Purimas Beach Hotel & Spa

The hotel is in an excellent location with a clean private beach and big pool. All rooms have sea views. The staff and management were excellent. The gentleman running the restaurant with a lady helping was 10/10. His service and friendly manner was first class.

A factory party took place near the pool area. Load music (not our style) and noisy until about 11.30pm. Probably would be better if management advised everyone about this when they booked. Even offer everyone a free food voucher as compensation for the noise and interruption to their holiday.

Lovely hotel by the beach, with a nice and large swimming pool and green area for sunbathing or just chill. The style is a bit old fashioned, but rooms are extremely spacious, with wonderful terrace and sea view. Breakfast is sometime a la carte and some days buffet, in any case nice and varied between continental, sweet and savory and Asian.

The hotel is a bit isolated and getting around by taxi was a bit troubled at times. Not sure if this was due to the low season period or some other factors, but taxi took some time to be organised and arrive at the property.

All emplyees in the hotel was outstanding (cleaning, reception, restaurant, management) and always trying to meet any request. The owner has international experience and understand european needs. He has made it to a nice place to be. The location next to the sea is excellent. Rooms are very big 50m2. Free parking under roof. We will return to this place in the future!

Nice breakfast with variety of food, but only bufe on days with many guests. Did not have bacon, even though it was on the menu as part of american/english breakfast. Everything else was great++ regarding the breakfast. Personally I prefer shower in the room with no bath-tub - not important for most people.

-location, nothing very close by and no transport readily available. We fealt kind of stuck as we have been used to grab a tuktuk or taxi via grab to move around. Rental car would be ideal to have

The location for the beach was excellent. Massive swimming pool, table tennis tables and table football kept the children entertained. The room was a good size.

The room was dated and could do with a refurbishment in the bathroom as there was black mould around the bath tub. The reception staff were efficient, the maid was very friendly and we had a lovely chat, the staff in the restaurant in the evening were bordering on being rude when they ignored my family because they were not yet ready to serve, even though the opening time had passed. Just a gentle comment is better than actively ignoring somebody.

I like the view the most. The pool is wide and it's facing the sea. It is a solemn place perfect for contemplation.

I didn't like that the sauna and snooker are not yet operational. The beach is not also safe for swimming- no lifeguards, no safety precautions, no danger signs.

Friendly and courteous staff. Food on site was exceptional. Beautiful facility.

The only negative thing was what was easy to walk to off property. The cafe across the street is excellent and worth many trips :).

It is the second time we go to Purimas, and it will not be the last, the Resort is very clean and nice, very quiet, the staff delightful, the rooms are very large and spacious, comfortable beds and the pillows are fantastic, swimming pool beautiful and well-kept, it would take more deckchairs and a few umbrellas, the private beach is always kept clean, but there are no deckchairs for guests who would like to stay on the beach, the water is not crystal clear, but on the other hand it is clean. it is the breakfast with very little choice and ONLY Thai dishes as in the only restaurant of the Resort. Definitely we will return. Recommended.

A seaside hotel which is passed its peak but is still run by friendly staff who do their best. Mr Zakariya at the lobby is a true gentleman
