Green World ZhongXiao

Excellent location near the subway and walkable to many sights such as Sun Yat Sen memorial hall, Songshan Creative Park, and even all the shopping around Taipei 101. Room is large and bed is comfortable. There was a bit of variety in the breakfast offering, and they were largely tasty.

Reception staff were cursory. There was a musty smell at the reception area too.

The location was perfect. It had 2 nearby Family Mart stores, a good restaurant nearby, and a coffee shop. It's just across GU and Uniqlo stores. It's just a block walk to the train station. The price was fair and given the big space of rooms, it was all worth it. There were also the basic amenities such as shampoo, body wash, comb, toothbrush, cleaned towels, hand dryer, cleaning kit or cotton buds and shaving kit. Even the breakfasf buffet that comes with the room booking was just right. It had what you need and the dining area doesn't get filled where it's too crowded. You will always find yourself a room to sit and dine comfortably. Our room didn't have windows or a view but it was indicated in the booking so we knew what to expect.

The beds were not as proportional to the size of the room. The beds could have been bigger in size especially if we will be sleeping with kids we cannot leave in another separate room but overall, we still had a comfortable stay.

Location, location and location ..... It is next to MRT station. So, it was so easy to go to Nangang Exhibition Centre/101 Tower. The restaurants nearby could fit different budgets. There is no window in the room. I was worried when I booked. However, this turned out to be a good feature to have. Although it is located next to a busy street, I could not hear any noise at all. The bed is comfortable and wider than a normal queen bed. The buffet breakfast was yummy. I had a chance to taste some local breakfast options before starting a busy day.

Payment methods offered TWD or your credit card currency options. However, the exchange rate was more terrible than similar transactions with credit card fees plus surcharges. The pavement outside the hotel was uneven.

Location is great - it is not far from most famous tourist's attraction in Taipei, and even if it is a little far, there are MRT, high speed train and buses. The MRT station is just next to the hotel. Room is reasonably big for one person. Mine does not have windows, but not important, as I only sleep there. Breakfast is ok to good, as it serves Taiwanese style and Western style in buffet arrangement. I only ate once because I woke up late. Good for families, and for people not looking to adventure out to find delicious local breakfast in the morning.

First time looking for the hotel is little tricky as the entrance is from the back street. I am just a bit particular about bathroom cleanliness more than others. Shower taps, handles, shower head might need a little more cleaning at the hidden area, as I see black scum in there. Pantry area need dusting as the kettle and free tea bags area a little dusty.

The breakfast: food was pretty okay and decent. But I didn't understand, why a "Green World" hotel uses one way paper cups and plates for breakfast. And the fact that at 10 o'clock sharp, everything gets put away without giving you any notice that breakfast time is about to be over is quite a bummer when you are actually not done yet. But when you realise, it's already too late. For this price, I would expect better service and obligingness.

We booked the Standard Room without a window - reception staff was very friendly! offered free crackers on New Years eve. Very accommodating to our needs and provides assistance. Loved the bathroom! Very spacious and has a good bath tub. With working hot/cold water - well kept and clean. Japanese type of toilets is a plus! Central location - within shopping area and MTR station for Zhongziao Dunhua is right behind the hotel. Within 20mins walk to Taipei 101 which is perfect for New Years when viewing the fireworks display.

Breakfast has limited options - while it is a buffet they do not change most of the food offered. Basic food, basic taste - most are a bit bland. Was not what we expected for the price of the stay. They only changed on January 1st maybe because of New Year festivities.

Pro: location, ample-sized room for 4. We could open up 3 of the large suitcases and still have ample room to move around!

Breakfast: most dilute fruit juices ever. Our disappointed kids ended up drinking water. Has rice porridge and condiments and that’s what I stuck with for 3 days. Other things were on the greasy side so stayed away from it. Disposable utensils and plates/cups etc so the self sorting after the meals were a bit confusing and we had to wait for the others to finish before we could disposed of ours.

The coworker who was on duty in the middle of night helped us to change the room due to the noise of the pipes. The service is really efficient and awesome offered by you.Thanks.

It was unfortunately that we didn’t have breakfast buffet on 4th floor due to the COVID-19.

Food is superb, we always look forward to breakfast. It is located within walking distance to the train station. There are a number of cafes and restaurants nearby, just a few minutes' walk. As well as shopping for clothes and cosmetics a few steps away. Check out Poya for your beauty needs. The place is clean, space plentiful. Lovely people.

We stayed for only three nights and it wasn't enough to explore the places.

The location is superb - just a short walk to the MRT station, great restaurants and cafes within walking distance, right off a major shopping street. The rooms are basic, but large and sufficiently clean. The bathroom is modern and spacious, and comes with a bathtub. Breakfast was adequate. The washer and dryer on site are really useful for long stays.
