CHECK inn Taipei Songjiang

Reliable internet. Cute twin room layout with beds lined against a wall horizontally. Few steps away from Zhongshan metro stop. Good water pressure for shower, nice soft lighting in room! Got extra pillows when requested :D

Would appreciate more patience and explanation on the types of invoice that could be provided as I am visiting for the first time and invoice system doesn't immediately make sense. Not appreciative of the price hike during NY and felt it was poor value for money for the comfort. Traffic noisy room, that continued throughout the night - windows are single glazed :(

We stayed for 4 nights and it was a pleasant stay. The room was small and our window faced another building, so we had to keep our blinds drawn. The room was comfortable and housekeeping cleaned daily, so we were very happy overall. The best part was the hotel is literally 30 seconds walk away from the subway and another 1 min away from a 7-11 convenience store, so it was a prime location to go anywhere!

Though the room was clean and neat, the place is slightly dated. For instance, the tv wiring was messily arranged, and the light fixtures were slightly dusty.

Our stay in Check Inn Songjiang was absolutely perfect. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they were clean, modern and comfortable. The best perks were: 1. Next to a subway station 2. Mini-buffet breakfast was delicious 3. Sitting area next to the lobby remained open until 10pm which allowed our group to hang out and play games together or plan our day together 4. Front desk staff was always available, friendly and knowledgeable about Taipei and usually spoke English 5. Free luggage check the day of check in and check out saved us a lot of money and inconvenience

Great location. Grocery store, restaurants, and night market are nearby. Taipei MRT station is in acceptable distance.

Showering facility is the only issue. Water will spread everywhere, including toilet seat. It can be easily and greatly improved by adding (hanging) a board between shower head and the sink.

Breakfast was good. The location is somewhat out of the centre, but still easily reachable. Also you have a lot of public transports options. There is a gym and 7/11 around closeby

The room is rather small and very pricy. But that is the case in all of Taipei

It has great location and is very close to MRT. It’s clean and comfortable.

The breakfast place is a little too small and crowded.

Location with access to public transportation (bus, Metro), hotel room and sorrounding areas are clean, helpful and friendly staff. Kudos to the hotel team!

The bed is not a true double bed. It’s two twin beds pushed together. Which is fine for two people but for a solo traveler like me it was not the most comfortable bed.

I really appreciate the robot sending my food deliveries to the door. Making ordering UberEats so much more convenient. I also loved the option of the sliding doors, allowing me to get fresh air from the outside.

Breakfast variety is good for a boutique hotel, located near a train station, easy to travel around, the area is quiet and away from the main tourist area.
