Great location, friendly staff, balcony room gives a great view of the surrounding alps and Mt Pilatus depending on the weather. Free breakfast was also convenient if you're trying to save money on swiss food.

No kettle in room. Also no curtain covered the balcony window to block sunlight, instead a shutter has to be lowered which took a few hours to realize.

Fantastic location! Walking distance to dock and train station. Less than 2 minutes from shopping, historic waterfront cafes and bridges, but tucked around the corner below the castle/wall on the river so very peaceful yet accessible. …and we were able to enjoy the balcony without cigarette smoke wafting up from the cafes. Laundry facilities were available for small fee. Very clean facilities and good complimentary breakfast. Room was spacious and comfortable, staff were kind and helpful. We highly recommend this location.

Loved everything. Only suggestion is to mark/ identify step down inside room. Both levels have same flooring so easy to not see and stumble when leaving entry way in room.

The rooms were clean and quiet large. We paid a bit extra for a balcony with river and mountain view, but it was so worth it! Listening to the river every morning and evening was so relaxing, as well as watching people jump in and ride the current past our room! The views were amazing! We saw Mt. Pilatus and the Swiss Alps from our balcony. The hotel is located slightly away from the main hustle and bustle towards the end of the Riverwalk so it was very quiet at night, yet we were within a few minutes walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the train station. The staff was so kind and helpful. The free included breakfast offered a huge variety of fresh food: fruits, breads, cereals, meats, cheeses, eggs, and beverages, which was continuously refilled. The bathrooms were large with good water pressure. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again!

There is nothing we can think of we would change!

My room didn’t face to the river but it was big, quiet and cooler. Shower was strong and we have a table with a kettle, coffee /tea and glasses. Breakfast was very good and the location perfect, not in the middle of the crowded old town but one street away and 15 min walking to train station. From the entrance of the hotel you see the speuerbrucke (old wood bridge) and the river. It was great that they sent us in advance the city card of lucern with free public transportation and free wifi in the city, very useful if you travel without roaming.

The room was for 3 people, and was good but a bit dark since it was in the first floor and faced the back of the hotel. We noticed it wasn’t that much room for the luggage. We travel with small bag packs and was ok, but if 3 people carry big suitcases there is not so much space left.

Very close to train/ bus station- can walk 10 mins or take a public transport. Swiss travel pass very helpful. Please take tickets for cable carto TItlis from the hotel reception to avoid queue in the TItlis base with discount rates for Swiss pass holder.

Breakfast should start little early from 6 am onwards instead 7 or 8 am Please keep hot water kettle and water bottles in room. Please arrange for Asian breakfast options like Masala tea, boiled eggs, omelette

Location; Fantastic, I booked the balcony option for my parents and the view was great. We had one facing the side of the hotel but it was also quite nice and peaceful. Close to the central area that you'd like to explore in Luzern. Rooms: Basic furnished but quite large and spacious, which is really important for us. Staff: Really nice and friendly both at the reception and breakfast, always a huge plus when the staff are great and informative Parking: We had parking behind the hotel, which was perfect for us. We also saw a parkhaus opposite the hotel. Elevator: Again quite important as my parents have some mobility issues and it worked perfectly.

The design of the hotel was slightly dated but honestly didn't bother us as we were there for only one night and as I said space vs. design - space is more important for us.

Location was excellent right on the river with beautiful views in a quiet location. A little distance from the train station but not that bad. The room was nice with balcony overlooking the river. The bathroom had a walk-in shower which was great. Breakfast served was good and the staff was very friendly. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and made the guests feel very welcomed! They were always there to assist.

If you step outside the hotel, there were little bugs flying all over the place.

Everything was great!! It’s 10 min walking far from the central station. Close to a lot of restaurants , but still in a quiet location. The employees are great and friendly ! Specially Patrick, who gave us really nice recommendations, like the boat tour at Lake Lucerne, which was spectacular!! The room qas very clean and comfortable. The twin bed for my stepson was separated from the double bed, providing more privacy for everybody for a very good price. The breakfast was really good! There was a variety of fruits, bread, cheese… also scrambled eggs and free coffee all day! There is also a laundry, but I didn’t use it! Super recommended stay!🥰

Excellent place to stay as it is clean, very near to the old town/tourist spots and very accessible via buses. The room was spacious and comfortable with good amenities. The staff were friendly and breakfast was very good too.

There was no minibar for us to store food and electric kettle for us to boil hot water for tea or warm up milk for our young son. However, they have compensated by providing access to the reception area for hot water and a coffee machine.

Superb location. The suite was quite good.

1.Whilst almost all hotels provide a complimentary bottle of water, there was no water provided in the room. The staff would insist to have the drinking water from bathroom and not the kitchen . For personal reasons, I and my family cannot consume the bathroom's water. This meant that I had to rush out of the hotel to buy water. 2. There was an additional city council charges added whilst at the time of check out. The hotel should clearly mention the need at the time of booking.
