We loved Eva lanka! Such a nice place, beautiful beach, great pool areas and amazing staff.

The only thing that could have been better was the restaurant. The staff is amazing but the food could have been better.

The hotel is beautifully located, we could not take our eyes off the scenery. Very relaxed athmosphere, 2 beautiful pools, a stairway leads you to a stunning and secluded beach. We spotted chipmunks, peackocks, monitor lizards, monkeys and countless birds on the premises. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, tours can be arranged at a reasonable price. Lovely breakfast with many options to choose from. Very child-friendly. We would 100% stay here again!

The resort was large a s v green with lots of wildlife. Peacocks, monkeys, birds etc Breakfast was good- its not a 5 start resort so better to mange your expectations- but it had lovely grounds- very instagramable! The room is basic but a very good size and I liked the 24 text WhatsApp line. Staff were very accommodating and location is next to a beach bar and a small shop fof basic snacks. Tuk.tuk is easy to get and lots of restaurants along the way up to the main town. Lots of uphill walking, so it's nice to keep.you active. All in all at the end- we didn't want to leave!

Room is a bit basic- no conditioner for hair and cold water mostly if weather is not sunny.

Eva Lanka is by far the greatest lodging deal in souther Sri Lanka. The quality you get for the money is just undisputed. Surrounded by the forest, this hotel is a hidden gem. Friendly staff (the owners themselves welcome many of the guests) and a postcard-look-alike beach make this hotel a no brainer choice when you have to sleep in Tangalle area. The breakfast offer is quite wide and the dinner menu offers both sri lankan and international dishes. The rooms are wide, bright and very clean. The garden and all the flowers you have all around is beautiful and really relaxing. There are also peacocks, fireflies and shy monkeys. Super recommended.

Wi-Fi reach in the rooms is sub-optimal but in the lobby and bar is just flawless. I have had several work calls and connection was just fine.

We have spent over 1 month here with my 20 months old and my 4 months old kids. Great value for money!!! The Italian owners and the staff are incredibly accommodating with the weirdest requests we had, always available, professional and kind. The structure is perfect for a family also with very young kids like mine. It’s very clean and safe. We met amazing people during our stay, from many different countries and different backgrounds (families with children, retired couples, young adults, teenagers, nomad workers etc). It was very enriching. Location is incredible, just above a fantastic paradise beach, still undiscovered by the main tourism and one of the only ones in the area that is safe to swim in (there are no dangerous currents). You can see turtles and beautiful fish on the corals while snorkelling if there is good visibility. We had the chance to do excursions that were really well organised, they arranged also to find very good babysitter for our 4 months old Ayurveda massages are great and the therapists and the doctor helped us a lot with a few health issues during our stay. I would definitely recommend it and I am looking forward to come back in the near future.

Great hotel with big green territory. Rooms also big enough for family. Room service every day. Two swimming pools at territory and superb beach in front of hotel.

Breakfast could have more option but in general no any negative comment about hotel itself. Recommend to be careful at the beach because local beach boys token money form us, but same time this is not related hotel.

Having a paradise called Ranlakshmi beach few meter from the room was definitely priceless. I have no words to describe the beuty of the beach and the tropical nature. Moreover, as Sri Lanka is known for surfing I loved the chance to surf in the beach close to the hotel, Unakuruwa. It has great waves for beginners. Then, having the opportunity to balance the ocean with the 2 large swimming of the hotel was simply perfect. The owners and the staff were always ready to provide the best service and help us to organise every excursion eg. Yale, Mirissa, Rock Temple etc... The rooms were structured in bungalows and were surrounded by tree palms and beutyfull peacocks. This creates a magical vibes that make us have a beutyfull memory of our vacation

It would be great having a good wifi coverage across all the hotel for the "unlucky ones" ie. the ones who still have work-related meetings to attend The food is good but give the status of the hotel we think that there might be margin of improvements

Happy stay! Excellent property and very good value for money, basically impossible in season to find something similar on the coast for the same price. Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful and also all the other staff is really kind. Property is clean and has a fantastic old time charm. Seawater swimming pools are amazing and beach just stunning, nature and wildlife are beautiful, impressive location. Food and service are good and bar really nice. Overall, I had a great experience at Hotel Eva Lanka!

Holiday chalets in the most fabulous setting, beautiful gardens overlooking a stunning private beach, two swimming pools and an abundance of wildlife and beautiful flowers, it really was amazing. The restaurant was good, rooms satisfactorily equipped and beds very comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful. In particular Lacmali on reception was so lovely ..

The property is fairly well maintained but really quite old. Bathroom fittings in particular could do with renewing.

the best Ayurveda center I have ever tried, the therapists are truly qualified and professional. This hotel really amazed us, it gave us a wonderful holiday that we will remember forever. nature is the protagonist, the peace is unique, you fall asleep with the sound of the sea and wake up with the birds singing. the ownership and staff are really attentive, they organized many tours for us and everything was perfect. this is a great place to explore the south and the national parks.
