NH Ciudad De Valencia

Great location with convenient walking distances to key attractions (Mestalla 20 min, Oceanografic 15 min, beach 15 min, city centre 25 min). Enjoyed a good breakfast and encountered exceptionally polite staff.

Room 225 was quite noisy, likely due to its proximity to the elevator, and the walls seemed to be quite thin.

Great location close to Ayora metro station, which allows you to be in the city centre in about 5-10 minutes. Rooms are clean and although interiors could use an update, everything was fine. Staff were helpful and very kind, definetely could not fault them!

Rooms aren’t very well isolated, there was one instance were I could hear the guest in the neighbouring room shaving his beard with a trimmer. The sound was so clear that it was like the guest was in my room. Walls are thin and there is also a small gap under the access door, which allows light in at night as well as being a source of noise when another guest walks by or is talking while in the corridor.

NH Ciudad the Valencia is a good hotel. It shows a bit signs of age, but it's not bad at all. Room had a good size for a couple. Bathroom was ok and shower worked well. Room was cleaned daily, but towels and bed sheets/linens were never changed for the 3 days of our stay. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is not pretty and has nothing really attractive, but it's convenient to explore different areas of the city. Ayora metro station is just 10min walk and the beach and city of arts and sciences are just 20min walk. Breakfast buffet was good and had a good variety of dishes, including local stuff.

Basically no toiletries (except soap/shampoo) and no slippers provided. Room was turned to the inner part of the hotel and there was no view and no natural light at all. Acoustic isolation not the best and you can hear people and or staff in other rooms/corridors.

The location is excellent, the staff were helpful and accommodating. The reception very well presented, obviously been renovated. The breakfast was high quality and plentiful, the serving staff very helpful. Bed and pillows comfortable, excellent nights sleep. Hotel parking excellent.

The bedroom was OK but in need of redecorating, wallpaper coming off the wall. The bathroom needs a complete renovation and more importantly a good clean, there were areas which had obviously been missed.

The breakfast was satisfactory but expensive. The room was adequate and always cleaned thoroughly. We decided not to have it cleaned every day to save the environment and was given a voucher for a soft drink which was very thoughtful. This is the second holiday where I’ve used your hotel and I’ve had good service each time. The first holiday was in June last year where I took the family and their children to a five star hotel in La Coruña with all the facilities. With this in mind I was enquiring whether I should be given a reduced rate?

Nothing really and I would think of using your hotels in the future.

Good location, close to the metro and also to several bus stations. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of energy for someone eager to discover Valencia on foot!:) Very helpful staff, always there if you have a question or a request. We arrived in town early in the day and left very late in the evening, but is was no problem to leave our luggage at the hotel before check-in and after check-out, respectively.

Nothing to say here! We went to Valencia to have a good time and that's exactly what we had!:)

The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, and valuable for money paid. The bedroom was separated by the door from the hallway and the bathroom, and it could help to weaken the noise coming from the guests using the stairs at late evenings. the hotel's location is walking distance away from the nearest metro station.

the room's window was looking into the small inner yard, and loud conversations from other rooms echoed the yards' walls at late evening

- The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful - We were able to check in early, at noon, with no extra fee - We left something in the room and the front desk lady let me back into the room after we checked out - We were able to leave our backpacks at the hotel after we checked out, until in the evening when we left for the airport - The room was clean and the bed was comfortable - The buffet breakfast was varied and the food was nice and fresh

- We could hear the people in the room next to us quite well, but it didn’t bother us too much because they respected the silence hours - The towels were rough

The hotel is really into sustainability and preserving the environment, so staying there makes you feel a bit better about yourself. The room was great, the only exception is that you don't have anything to dry your swimming suits and towels outside the bathroom, and it takes forever to dry in a humid environment. A big plus is that there are bus stops and bike stations really close. Overall, it's a great choice and would recommend it.

The hotel was in a great location. The main bulevar is connecting beach and the city center. The metro station is close to the hotel. You have a bus station in front of the hotel with a bus that leads to the beach. Room was big, the air conditioning worked pretty well, the bathroom was also quite big and had everything you needed. Breakfast was excellent. You have everything, big plus for tea leaves and water in a bottle. The hotel stuf was very polite. They let us check in earlier because they had free rooms at the time.

The street was very noisy so you can't sleep with an open window, but when you close the window is great. Cleanliness of the room was okay. For my type of clean room, sheats need to be changed a minimum of 3 times in 11 days. The Floor of the room is very old, and he always looks dusty because of that. Bed was terrible for me, too soft and very small for two people.
