Excellent location with free parking, which was easy to find, within 30m. Hotel is beautiful internally with traditional features. Staff speak a little English and were very welcoming and friendly, particularly Monica. Our room was on the top floor. It was spacious if a little dark and could be brightened up by painting all the internal wood but I guess that might be a bit too modern. Excellent breakfast served to the table consisted of a wonderful array of fruit, meat, cheese, pastries, juice and coffee. Thanks for the experience, it made our visit special.

Leaking shower, insecure shower head and sky light hatch were minor issues.

I really loved this hotel. Communication both before arrival and during my stay was excellent. It was good that my hosts gave me a free map on arrival and made a few suggestions for places to visit in Úbeda. The location of the hotel is excellent, being just a few minutes walking distance away from the historical centre of town and with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. My double room, with shower, wash hand-basin and WC, was comfortable allowing for the fact that the hotel is a converted historical building. Breakfast, for which I paid separately, was very good. As I'm a vegetarian who occasionally eats fish, after the first morning I just let my hosts know of my dietary requirements and on subsequent days the choice was varied to ensure that I got what I needed. Everything was very high quality and the service was exceptional. The atmosphere in the hotel was cosy, relaxed and friendly. All in all, it was an excellent stay and I can recommend the hotel completely to future guests.

Everything!! It is not without irony that this is a refurbed religious building as this place is nothing short of heavenly. We stayed in a standard double room that was fabulous - modern facilities fused with the beauty of this old building. Exceptionally clean with a fabulously comfortable bed including good pillows 👏 The welcome & help from the reception staff was superb & her love of the hotel shone through. The decor is amazing with fabulous touches around every corner. Breakfast was wonderful with another set of fabulous staff. We loved the upstairs terrace after an evening in the beautiful town of Ubeda. Parking is free & adjacent to the hotel & do not be perturbed by the small streets it is easily driveable. I cannot say how happy we were to have found this hidden gem & will definitely be back for longer. Value for money is phenomenal 👏 🙌 👌

Very nice breakfast in a cozy hotel. I enjoyed the local food that was offered and the staff was very nice and helpful. There is a free parking near the hotel which was great for us. The hotel is close to the interest areas all in walking distance. Beds were big and comfortable.

We were at the top floor and it was hard to get the water to stay at a constant temperature at the shower. We had to be quick in order for it not to get cold. :)

Outstanding, first time I have reviewed a Hotel with full top marks in all categories. The stay here was simply superb. The lady that checked us in was absolutely perfect in her communications relating to the hotel, information of the area, suggested walks and recommendations. Free parking close by and walk out the door into the old city. Hopefully I will get the chance to return to this hotel someday.

What a beautiful 16th century boutique hotel with clean and modern renovations! The staff were consistently wonderful and accommodating. The location was quiet and surrounded by lovely medieval architecture. The incredibly comfortable bed was so appreciated after long bike rides we took to enjoy the endless olive groves and other small villages in the Jáen province. We hope to return to this very special place.

The staff were all absolutely lovely..warm, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious….not a buffet but freshly prepared and brought to the table. My room was rustic but very comfortable, and the location was ideal…walkable to everything . I would definitely stay here again.

The same thing a lot of people have mentioned…the see through door on the toilet!

Breakfast was exceptional, a wonderful range of meats, cheeses, fish, fruit, yoghurt, baked goods and quality coffee (a couple at the next table had gluten free options provided) Great location close to restaurants, bars and main plaza for sightseeing We will stay here again Free parking in a location nearby, 1 min walk to the hotel... Be careful of the narrow town streets though!

Absolutely superb

Fabulous hotel, the reception area was amazing Our studio on the 2nd floor was perfect. The bed was so comfortable, we also had a fridge and microwave in the room. The window in the room was small, but we had the use of the lovely patio on the roof terrace. The location was perfect, restaurants, 2 minute walk from hotel. Free parking 50 metres from the hotel. Just Perfect for our relaxing break. Thank you.

Friendly staff. efficient service, excellent breakfast and beautiful old building. Central atrium with three levels where one can sit and enjoy a free coffee. Perfect location close to all visitor attractions. Free parking nearby in various locations. Directions to the property were accurate and appreciated.
