Aparthotel Ona Palamós

The hotel is located very close to the beach and not far away from the city centre. The room is big, with a bedroom, living room and balcony. It's equipped with a fridge, wardrobe, sofa and desk. The breakfast was quite diverse, including salty options and fruits. The pool was great. It has a roof, so it was open also in case of rain.

The Wi-Fi was not stable and very often it was not possible to work. The pool could be open longer (it's 10:00-20:00). There is no room service included for 3 nights and in the room there was no bin, so no idea what to do with the trash.

The location is perfect - not even a 2 minute walk from the beach, and an 8-10 minute walk from tons of restaurants, cafes, and shops. The apartment we stayed in was clean and comfortable for 3 people, and had the necessities (linens, toiletries, basic kitchen/dining supplies). We weren’t in the room very much aside from sleeping and dropping in during the day to change clothes, etc. so it was great for our needs.

Having some ground coffee and filters for the room to go along with the provided coffee pot might have been nice, though there were a ton of coffee shops close by where we missed having it in the room too much (and the lobby has coffee for purchase).

I had a great 4 nights at this hotel. Can walk to the beach in few minutes. Room is clean and all of the staffs are really nice and helpful. Larissa, young lady at front office, is always willing to help me whenever i have problems without any hesitation. She has a passion for great service who is a great asset for this hotel.

There are varieties of food for breakfast but if i stay for many days i would like to try something different.

It's a good hotel. Close to everything, staff were really nice. Nice swimming pool and there was a bath in the bedroom. I'm glad I chose this place.

Rooms should be cleaned more often. I stayed for 5 nights and didn't have my room cleaned. Towels and bed sheet were changed on the second or third day, but the floors were not cleaned and bin not collected. After so many days going to the beach, there was sand and hair on the floor and a bit of housekeeping would be welcomed.

The room was great, very spacious and modern. The hotel is really nice, with a great location. The beach nearby is gorgeous. Breakfast is really good, with lots of stuff to try. The pool is really big, with an on duty lifeguard, so a plus if you travel with kids.

The pool's heating could be a bit more hot, on cold or rainy days it is a bit too cold for use.

Clean , good sized apartment , with separate lounge / bed if required. excellent shower and facilities. The only problem we had was the air conditioning seemed to be having problems in our room , so was too hot one of the nights. I’m sure this could be easily sorted . Quiet pool area plenty of sun beds and in peak times there was a bar inside next to the pool area. All staff were pleasant and nice. The breakfast was available with our price, and had adequate choices. The location is a few streets back from the front, the walk to the main centre shops , restaurants is only 10 mins walk if that, ideal and good price .

Only probably the air conditioning problem, but that was just unlucky for us that day, I’m sure if we had made them aware, they would have sorted it .

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room & facilities were clean and comfortable. The food was very tasty with lots of choice. The location is perfect. 2 min walk to the beach, 10 min walk to the busy side of town, shops & restaurants.

Although the eco air-con is a great idea, a short delay would be beneficial whislt opening the balcony door preventing it being constantly switched on and off. Low lighting in the room would be more comfortable. It's either a big light or no light.

Conditions in the room are very good for the price. The food is excelent.

The only remark about the trip has nothing to do with the Hotel, but with the authorities of Palamos. The rules about dog excrements on the sidewalk are not appplied. There are dog excrements everywhere in Palamos. Please let the Townhall know this remark.

WE were upgraded due to the original room having bedroom adjacent to the corridor.

The original room had the bedroom adjacent to the corridor and was a poor layout. The breakfast was too expensive, like most hotels these days. Fortunately there was a great cafe within 5 minutes walk with breakfast at half the price.
