Hotel Roger de Flor by Seleqtta

We loved the pool,view,hotel decor,garden and plants. The food in the restaurant was wonderful,we were on half board and the staff were very kind and accomodating. Being a coeliac often means you don't have choice but here there was so much choice including heated gf bread rolls. Omelettes for breakfast and the cook to order fish and meat station chef's were great every morning and evening. You can order picnics when you go out and the reception staff were friendly and helpful with this and all other requests.

We were in the junior suite 311 and if you want peace and quiet early am or late pm this is not the room for you.The chairs scraping on the floor and the food trolleys were soo loud. While our room was clean the balcony was shabby with no light or awning to enjoy sitting out on,there was a toilet smell in the room on arrival and a cold bigger fridge as opposed to a little bar fridge for cold drinks was missing. Despite these quibbles I would still recommend the hotel and we had a great trip.

Everything was great, the place and the staff. We were at the right place.

It is more a Palace than a simple hotel. The building itself is so nice, the Staff is so kind, they were always there to assist whenever you needed, always with the smile. The room was big with a balconee with partial view on the sea... The restaurant offers a fantastic panoramic view on the mediterranean sea... The food was great with very delicate with subtle entries and desserts and 4 options of main dishes a la carte. We really had a good time there. More than a 4 star hotel, I definitely revommend it. Excellent view, delicious food and variety of dishes. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Nice warm water in the pool and relaxing pool area. We liked overall the location as it has a charming style and atmosphere. Restaurant has a nice view, the staff very friendly and well organized.

The hotel needs to be updated in 2023, the furniture in the rooms is outdated, and our room had a bad smell, we requested to be changed. Another minus are the cocktails prices at the pool, we received a unwell prepared cocktail glass, with the comment: “the price is so high because of the views 🤣

Hotel is located in the beautiful 19th century villa, with the nice view on the sea. I arrived at about 11PM and had no problems with checking-in. There are several ways to go downstairs to the sea, which takes maybe 10 minutes or less. The restaurant was nice having different dishes each day. Almost everyday there were interesting shows in the evening. Many shops nearby (inc. supermarket).

Wifi coverage was really poor, almost never working in the room, but working in the hallways, restaurant and bar. During the dinner you have to pay for the drinks, even water. Yes, it's only 2-3 EUR, but still.

Beautiful hotel located a few hundred metres above the town of Loret De Mar. Fantastic view, extremely quiet, tastefully decorated with a home from home feeling. Lots of comfortable, exquisite furniture to sit on and admire the view. The luxury suite had a huge balcony overlooking the sea, 2 ensuite bathrooms and a jacuzzi set up a few steps. Extremely spacious and clean. Bar area was fun in the evening, on one of the nights they had a disco on the small courtyard outside but it finished by 11.30 for those wanting an early night. I loved walking up the 200 steps from the hustle and bustle of the beach and restaurants below, to our perfect oasis of calm on the hill.

The lower half of the piano sadly was not working - both me and my son play so had fancied doing a few tunes but somewhat restricted by the lack of keys!

1.the hotel is situated on a hill most of the rooms have an 180-200 degree view of Lloret. there are rooms with a 270* view. 2. the pool is awesome and the poolbar 3. food

1.as mentioned earlier, the hotel is on a hill so that means you have to walk/ take the steps. there is an elevator i the next hotel but you still have to walk to the next hotel. 2. the hotel looks old. there are many renovations but it still looks old. the style is a little like a spanish Shining Hotel. 3. for a half board price, i found the wine list pretty expensive.

We loved this hotel. It is the diamond in the slightly tawdry jewel that is Lloret de Mar. We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely old villa on the hilltop overlooking the sea. The interior, the exterior and the setting are classical old world Spain. The staff were all terrific and we really enjoyed dinner in the restaurant as well as the excellent breakfast. Plenty of areas to relax but unfortunately October was too cold to use the pool. Lots of parking. Would stay here again. Highly recommended.

Nothing. We liked everything about the hotel apart from its proximity to Lloret de Mar and the view to the back of the scruffy apartments along the sea front.

very beautiful villa. garden and view from the hotel is beyond expected. amazing view from pool. hotel it self is a beautiful old villa with well kept garden. lloert de mar is a very commercial city with lot of party seekers, but when u enter to this beautiful hotel, u'll experience totally different magical relaxing world. u can relax at hotel , we noticed lot of older people choose this hotel. i think this is the best hotel in lloret be mar and we would like to visit again. breakfast and dinner serves very well, they refill everything until last guest enjoy the meal. staff was excellent, very helpful. specially the receptionist at night and bar staff from pool side bar and inside bar. they always there to help us with big smile.

there is nothing i didn't like. we enjoy our stay and felt didn't want to leave the place , only improvement we would like to suggest that dinner options are bit limited and bit oily, most of the food were grilled or fried. but u can find options for everyone. compare to beauty of the hoel, it would add more value if u can provide more options for dinner. but we enjoy the food

Loved the grounds, lobby and pool. They are even better than the photos. Good breakfast, friendly staff. The pool bar with food was very good. We were one of the few who's native language was English, the majority of the staff spoke English decently and those who didn't made an effort to understand what we needed. This was greatly appreciated.

The room or more specifically the bathroom was a bit dated. Had to have drain cleaned by hotel when it backed up. Wifi was poor. That was it. Everything else was fantastic. Not the fault of the hotel but our GPS dropped us at the wrong area. It took some time to find it. I have read other reviews saying the same. The hotel is at the top of a hill, not down in the restaurant / shopping area. Once you find the hotel, drop a pin and it is easy for the rest of the trip.

Room was large with a balcony and side sea view. The bathroom was also large and there was a fridge in the room. The bed was king size and comfortable. The buffet evening meal was exceptional with something to suit all tastes. The restaurant looks out over the sea and there are many other places on the premises to sit and enjoy the view or have a drink. Breakfast was as good as the evening meal. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

We would like to have been able to reserve a parking space. The car park was very full and it would be difficult to park elsewhere as the hotel is up high.
