Hotel Blauet

Friendly staff Very clean Lovely courtyard. Close to Airport. (Bus stop is about a 10 min walk away depending on how fast you walk!) It is well run and ok quiet. Sergio’s Tapas type bar(close by) does an excellent good value menu of the day and are helpful.

It is a no frills hotel, no hot drink making in the room. Think Travelodge type place. But that said I’d stay again. The cafe/bar wasn’t open on our stay.

A reasonable option if you need to stay overnight near Barcelona Airport or if you are visiting El Prat de Llobregat. 10-minute walk from a short metro trip to both T1 and T2. Just remember to buy a special airport ticket.. Taxi about 20-25€ from airport. Basic but comfortable room. I particularly liked the door between the bathroom and the sleeping area. Set in a quiet residential area of a dormitory suburb of Barcelona but with shops and food and drink options quite close by.

Don't expect quaint old world charm or hipster designer aesthetics. It's a basic but comfortable hotel in a workaday dormitory suburb.

Chose Hotel Blauet because it was far cheaper than other options and was close to the airport. Eddy on reception was brilliant! warm and informative nothing too much hassle. Went out of his way to explain the diversion on Metro and other advise. I work in a four star hotel in the UK and he made me feel comparatively miserable and unapproachable :) . All other staff also fantastic, printed out boarding pass without issue. Metro within walking distance of hotel with hand luggage although wouldn't fancy it with big hold luggage. Room spotlessly clean, got a good nights sleep and good free internet. Hotel well and truly exceeded expectations. Read a few reviews about the expensive cost of taxi fares from hotel... Do yourself a favour and download the cabify app to your phone that is used across Spain. No worries about getting ripped off, cheap as chips. I will be returning to hotel.

Shower holder wasn't fit for purpose, so had to hold shower head while showering. Wasn't a problem though... Also didn't like the timer ticking down on the hotel website when trying to making a direct booking. Felt like a cheap pressure tactic and unnecessary. It actually dissuaded me from booking. Clutching at straws for dislikes though had a brilliant stay.

For the money it was very good. I felt welcomed and I can imagine in the summer it could be quite nice on the terrace which looked new.

Very little wasn’t good in reality. If I had to choose anything it would be that noises from other rooms could be quite audible at times but really it wasn’t an issue.

I only stayed briefly to catch a flight in the morning. I had a disaster with my padlock getting stuck on my suitcase and Layla on reception was amazing, she went above and beyond the call of duty to help me and I am so grateful! I had a good feeling about the hotel even before that, it has a cheery vibe and it is really nice considering the low price.

I suppose the neighbourhood isn’t the nicest but I’m just making a judgement based on passing through very briefly.

It is a nice family business. Rooms are new and clean. Facilities were comfortable. The staff are super nice and helpful. Even though it is almost an hour outside of Barcelona, it is still well connected and for our 2-night stay it was more convenient to have something near the airport (15-20 minutes by bus).

For us the location was ok for our needs. But those looking to frequently go to the city should expect an hour in public transportation.

It's a nice little hotel. I liked the transport accessibility, el prat is easy to get to from the Barcelona Sants on R2 train. There are many good restaurants, buses and public transport in el prat itself. The hotel staff is very friendly and the réception is available 24/7. Room was clean, wifi free, water hot, bed linens clean. Easy bus ride to the campus of the Institute of Oncology.

The room is very simple, but it's ok. The window was not closed tightly

The person at the reception was very helpfull and friendly we arrived late and left early again to fly from the airport. They asked them to call us a taxi and it was there perfectly on time. Everything was explained clearly and we had a fine stay in preparation for our flight the next day.

The hotel is fairly basic and far from the city center. I would not stay here for other reasons than an early flight from the airport. From the hotel a taxi is the best option since public transport to the airport is still a walk away.

The location was perfect for both a trip into Barcelona & for easy access to the airport. The rooms were basic but clean. Communal seating area was super cute, and the bar/cafe was nice & convenient. The staff were absolutely lovely and certainly a highlight for our stay, especially after having our flight cancelled - Eddie was an absolute star & helped make our morning a little less stressful.

Beds weren't the most comfortable, but good enough for a night or two. A mini fridge would have been nice, just to keep drinks cold as the weather was crazy hot!

Employees were all extremely friendly, welcoming, and supportive. Its also relatively close to the airport and the el prat beaches.

Could have better quality furniture, and could use its nice terrace for breakfast and dinner.
