Senator Huelva

Very nice hotel in a great location in Huelva. We had a standard room which was plenty big enough for the two of us. The room and hotel was very clean and the bathroom was excellent and the room had air conditioning. Very easy to check in and the lady on reception was excellent and gave us a map of the centre and pointed out places of interest. All the staff we met were very friendly. There is paid car parking on the other side of the road under the supermarket, which was 5 euros a day.

Only one small thing, had a problem paying for my room as I entered all my details when I booked it, but they kept asking me for payment through their secure payment portal, and click here to access it, but there was no link in the messages I received. They did take payment off my card which is what I thought they would do.

Professional and friendly service. Reception is small but has a nice sofa area near by the courtyard. Quick check in/out. We asked if we could check in a bit earlier and they were able to accommodate, which was super helpful. Comfortable and ok size room with kettle facilities. Great location. Will stay again.

All was very good. We just stay one night and out most of the time but maybe would be helpful for other guests to explain a bit about the facilities (restaurant,...)

The room was large and mostly comfortable. I appreciated all the little essentials that were in the room (bathrobes, shoe horn, shoe cleaner, etc.). The wifi & a/c and tv worked great! Location was very good with lots of restaurants nearby.

The rooms/hotel need updating. The table and chairs in our room weren’t very comfortable. The hallway rugs and doors are all very worn. The hotel restaurant wasn’t very inviting, so we didn’t use it.

Central location with lots of eateries around as well as a pharmacy and a supermarket. Hotel was clean, hardly any noise in the room and staff were really helpful; when the lights went off (due my own fault) staff were there in two minutes and the electrician five minutes later. Printed a document I needed without any hassles and always greeted as you walked past the front desk. Just felt comfortable. Highly recommended.

The location is very good within walking distance from the centre

We had the family room. 2 double beds put together. It felt claustrophobic and there was hardly any room to move around. The buffet breakfast was €13 per person with the child half price. We chose to eat breakfast just round the corner of the hotel. There is no need to go for hotel parking as there is free parking from 8pm to 9am in the road nearby.

Value for money is probably the best in Huelva, there are not many big hotels there, with parking and so. Great location, clean, reception works 24/7, good breakfast (nothing special, but good), friendly staff, comfortable.

You may wish to ask for the room that's not on main street / roundabout side, since the windows are not stopping all the noise. It was not noisy for me, but sensitive people could hear the traffic.

We arrived at Senator Hotel after a long ferry crossing from Santa Cruz de Tenerife and were pleasantly surprised. Our room was very nice and clean and the front desk staff were very accommodating. The hotel was in a perfect location, not too far from the Port and we would definitely stay here again if and when in Huelva again.

There was a slight mix up about where we went for breakfast, however the staff in the Cafeteria attached sorted our bill with Reception. We should have gone downstairs!

great location and had parking close by for large cars. we have a 7 seater so parking at the hotel was not possible. lots of restaurants all down the same road. lots of choice just on your doorstep. lovely clean rooms. we got two large doubles as a free upgrade.

the lift wouldn’t open when I came down once but they did have two lifts. I just had to go up one flight then come down again but I choose to walk down the stairs.

The hotel was ideally situated. When we arrived Rocio, who was on reception was extremely helpful and was always ready with a smile. We upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Think the bed must have been a Super King. It was huge but very comfortable. Tea and coffee provided. Shower was good as was the AC. Liked it a lot

The car park was tight but we knew that before we arrived and really is like any other underground car park.

Very clean, comfortable room with excellent value. Served it’s purpose, which was a stopping point on our way to Lisbon.

Check in took 30 minutes as the line was very long when we arrived. It would have been good to have more than one person to assist. Hotel is dated, but very clean and comfortable. Cannot complain for the price 👍
