Hotel Rocamar

The location is perfect, a beautiful view of the sea, 2 minutes walk from a lovely harbour where there are restaurants with delicious food. If you’re looking for a luxury stay, this is not it, however Hotel Rocamar is unique, quirky, homely cozy and clean. They clean your room everyday and change the towels. The owners are so friendly and helpful and there is a good breakfast available for €15. I would definitely come here again. I was a female solo traveler and felt completely safe in the hotel in the surrounding location. I had the such a lovely relaxed holiday. Perfecto

This hotel was great for our 3-night stay! Our balcony had a seaview, which was lovely to wake up to every morning. The place also has a pool, which was a perfect substitute for one of the days when we wanted a break from the busy beaches. The room was spacious and light, there was also a working airconditioner and a minifridge - true necessities in +30° weather.

The hairdryer in the room was not working and there was a weird smell from an anti-bacterial device installed in the bathroom. It was also a bit annoying to have to leave the room key at the reception everytime we left the property. However, I would say the advantages of the place for sure outweigh these little hiccups :)

Martha and all the staff were so welcoming and could not have been more helpful. We were given leaflets of local places to visit, restaurants, supermarkets and bike hire. She explained how the hotel had been built by her grandfather for her mother and aunt, and had been in the family since then. The pool was excellent with umbrellas available & showers and very welcome after a day out. The whole area around the pool with very comfortable with numerous luxury loungers with cushions. It was great to have air-conditioning, the beds were comfortable and the balcony overlooking the sea had an incredible view. It was also very useful to have a fridge in the room. The breakfast at €15 was extremely good value and plentiful, even with facilities to cook your own eggs. Shower was a bit elderly but perfectly functional and everything was impeccably clean. The coffee machine in the lobby for €2 produced excellent coffee in many variations. Marta pointed out that this had been a new addition. We had a fabulous stay here and would certainly return. Great location with beautiful views! We really liked Cala Figuera and this accomodation. Easy to get street parking nearby. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We would stay again and wished we stayed longer. Good value for money. Location close to other nice beach areas too if you have a car (expect you would need a car to stay here)

Water couldn’t be drunk from taps. Just need to get bottles from nearby supermarket, so not an issue but with noting.

An underrated gem, Cala Figuera is a secret beauty away from all the tourism, brilliant restaurants and stunning views. Hotel Rocamar was equally as great, the property is a 2 min walk from restaurants and super market, the pool and views were amazing. The room was spotless and modern, it had everything you needed. Margarita and her husband were incredible hosts who even helped us sort a motorbike for our stay, recommended restaurants and a cab for the airport. They ensured we had everything we needed and were always around to help.

Our stay at Rocamar was perfect. We loved the atmosphere of this small, familly-run hotel with friendly owners and clean swimming pool. The view from balcony was spectacular, so relaxing… Cala Figuera with its picturesque harbor and good restaurants is a good choice if you are looking for a quiet & authentic base for exploring small bays and beaches in the area.

No kettle in the room BUT we could borrow at the reception.

Everything. Specially the ocean view. The staff was amazing and kind. We had a flight at 11pm and they let us stay at the pool facilities being able to take a shower so that we could enjpy the day.

The only problem I had was with allergies..The bathroom is a bit damp and I could smell it. But it didn't bother my husband, who is not allergiic. I loved the place, though. We would def stay there again

Lovely place with a nice sea view. Room sizes are good and comfortable, hosts are very kind and accommodating, there's parking right in front of the hotel. You must have a car to move around the area.

The town nearby is very small and has no beach. You can swim right across, although it is quite deep so you have to be comfortable with that.

Lovely place, the personal was so kind and friendly. And the location with the view, amazing. Cala Figuera is a small town, so if you are up for party, this isn't the place for you.

The Air condition could have been better, but it worked ok!
