NH Gran Hotel Casino de Extremadura

We booked a good room and it was simply perfect: comfortable bed, big bathroom and great river view. the breakfast was very good (not excellent since it could be better). The parking spot is another great thing. Staff is helpful and really nice to talk to. Hotel location is good if you have car or if you’re ready to walk some blocks to get into downtown. We didn’t use facilities: pool and gym. We visited the casino and it was well designed.

Nothing to add here. Some improvements points: a) place to have a tea snack b) inside restaurant should open before, maybe 7:30

Extremely spacious bedroom with a lovely shower and toiletry. The bed was very comfy and had everything we needed after hours of driving. The hotel lobby is beautifully designed with a modern and vibrant approach. There is a small gym with treadmill and cardio options but also some dumbbells to enable you to have a fair workout. As a plus, there is free water and apples in the gym, a good way to refresh after a hard sesh. I would certainly recommend this hotel

I would suggest that the reception staff could be fluent in English but generally, they were friendly enough. So, no bother. Other than that, there is a TB in the room but there is no Netflix nor good channel options which is not great for a hotel like NH. It is a quick fix, so I would defo recommend an upgrade on it.

We always like to stay here on our way to south Spain, it is a fun place to stay and play a Bingo or hit the slot machines, friendly staff, great drinks… very nice Restaurant and excellent breakfast.

the first 5 stays we had slippers, robes, chocolates and other amenities in the room, they really tried to feel welcome and special, this has changed and there is no amenities in the room or welcome surprises, it feels a bit sad, especially because we keep coming back but all those extras have disappeared even the free drink T the casino. we have stayed over 10 times and now we feel like we could get better value at other hotels near by.

Excellent size room with all the mod cons. Very clean and well equipped. Powerful hair dryer and heated towel rail in the bathroom. The breakfast is amazing and the views are tremendous. And the dining room has a proper hardwood floor 👍

Yes it's a posh one but nowhere near the center. You'll need a taxi or car. Plenty of parking outside or drive down the left hand side of the hotel to a massive free car park. I wouldn't instal such poor quality laminate flooring in our cheapest rental. It was lifting in the corners especially in the bathroom. Advertised as HARDWOOD OR PARQUET FLOORS! The hotel urgently needs to replace the flooring to maintain five stars. The shower taps are broken but can be used. The shower and soap bottles keep falling off the wall.

Nice hotel, modern, beautiful room, fresh and healthy breakfast . Breakfast assistance was very polite offered his help a couple Of times . Casino is always fun, good and positive atmosphere where you can play roulette, black jack and poker . Front desk was very friendly and professional. Thanks a lot

Parking is extra 16 euro , breakfast was extra as well however worth it. I was asked to show my id twice when entering casino they didn’t even want to check to system to see my previous visit which was a same day.

Really lovely hotel. Reception staff were very friendly and kind. Our suite was fabulous, very spacious, clean, good decor. Bed was super comfortable!! Good buffet breakfast. I had notified hotel on booking of our dietary requirements and they had put a note for the breakfast staff who very kindly did a special plate for us. Plenty of underground easy parking. Good location, 10 min walk to the beautiful bridge and then into the old town and Alhambra etc.

Very glitzy entrance. Large room , plenty of electrics, bath & shower. Toiletries, mini bar fridge. Coffee but no tea or milk. Parking E16/day Good location, easy to walk into centre. The evening meal was good but the place lacked atmosphere for dining. Breakfast was very good and plenty of it. The male receptionist who welcomed us was extremely friendly and helpful.

Loved everything Big clean room with huge and cozy bed, perfect bathroom with all ementies and nice bar Private parking so you don't need to worry about the car. Staff was very friendly, all of them. You can always try your luck at casino upstairs, but everything very controlled and separated so you don't need to worry about children. Perfect localization, historical part with all restaurants just at the other side of river, to get there you just have to cross the bridge nearby.

The room was a good size and we had a bath with a shower over, which was perfect for our needs. They provided lovely towelling bath robes and plenty of extra bedding, so we were cosy and warm on the chilly day we arrived. The breakfast was good.

There was one member of staff doing everything, so service was a bit slow, but he was a really lovely man doing his very best, and had a great sense of humour, in English and Portuguese.

The location is great. There's a very nice park along the river, to walk and to do some sports. Just 20 minutes away walking from the city center and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. The staff was so helpful, polite and professional. The Superior Room are amazing and everything was incredible. The breakfast has a lot of choices and excellent quality
