Hotel & SPA Peña Montañesa

The hotel is nicely situated in the mountains with great view. The spa is really nice seems refurbished and has beautiful view in the mountains as well. They upgraded me to a room with better view (not to the street) without extra cost. I could store bicycle in a save room.

The room doesn't have a cattle or refrigerator. The spa is relatively expensive and restrictive (20€/1h, even though one facility (hammam) was out of order, can only access every full hour and not stay e.g. 1.5 h even though this wouldn't be any problem, one needs to wear cap). Also the stuff could advice a bit more e.g. when would be good time (for sunset it seems very nice but I don't know about the view). The food in the restaurant was not great.

The hotel has nice Spanish flair, it is clean, has covered parking, great location for excursions and traveling. The rooms had air condition. Staff were all very friendly and helpful from the receptionist to breakfast and dinner. Breakfast had nice fresh buffet - a mix of everything. Dinner was great and you had even the chance to sit on a nice terrace with a nice view.

Our rooms was on the smaller side. It would have felt even cramped without our two dogs. It is located next to a road, which can get busy at peak season and at peak time. Also, walking your dog in the morning and evening are limited to a quick wee at the back of the hotel.

We loved everything about this hotel complex especially the fact that they only charged 8 euro per dog to stay there which is excellent compared to our last hotel in Northern France that charged us 40 euros for the same dogs! Booking .com are amiss in not illustrating these charges in their advertisements.

We loved everything about this hotel the breakfast was lovely and we will use this hotel on our regular trips from now onwards.

Great base location to tour the surrounding area on motorbikes. Nice relaxing ambience, very helpful staff. Great menu choice and food excellent. Excellent value for money. Very spacious bar, restaurant and outdoor terrace. Lots of sheltered parking available.

The ensuite bathrooms are a bit outdated, could do with a fresh new look.

Spa was rather disappointing, several features did not work. Lots of plastic particles in the water, tiles missing, looks rather dated, Swimming pool surrounds very dirty. Menu was not very exciting, menu of the day hasn't changed in years, rather boring. Rather expensive when t0% tax added to menu prices.

Nice mountain hotel with a wonderfully located and relaxing outdoor pool. Parking available in front of the hotel, free of charge. We had dinner at a very modest price (not haute cuisine, but good enough). Breakfast was good with ample choice and it was nice to have it on the patio with a soothing sun and wonderful views.

The room was very noisy, as if traffic was actually driving through our bed. You need to take the car to get to Ainsa at night; and there is nothing else to do in the vicinity of the hotel. The restaurant and bar are too canteen like; lacking atmosphere. We would have liked to use the sauna but at 20 euros for half an hour this is a rip off, so a no go for us.

Very friendly hotel employees, nice and clean room, very good bed, nice location and so nice that they allow dogs and do not charge a lot for them.

As we were travelling with a dog, we could only have the lowest room category. The room was not too small and with a balcony quite nice. The bathroom was fine. Breakfast was a buffet with a very good range of food. The location was nice and quiet, the staff very friendly.

The room was not very good soundproofed.

We spent a very nice time at Hotel & SPA Peña Montañesa, making use of the swimming pool in the garden, with the mountains as a superb decor! We also enjoyed the restaurant, with an excellent menu. The staff was very friendly. We had very nice rooms and a huge bathroom (junior suite).

Hotel has its own style, very cozy, nicely decorated. Location is fantastic in the middle of the town, everything is at walking distance and routes starting point of cola de caballo and valle bujuarelo is just 10 min. with the car. The staff was really nice, helpful and friendly. Internet works perfectly as well.

There was no ventilation in our bathroom and the door didn't close well, as the door of the bathroom is just in front of the bed, so it would be really nice if ventilation would work, as you just cant keep open windows when its cold.
