Hotel Triglav

Traditional, historic 4 star hotel with 4 star service. Amazing breakfast. Lovely room overlooking Lake Bled.

Restaurant provided just one set evening meal for 50 euros. We didn't try it so can't comment on the quality but a more value for money option would have persuaded us to eat at the hotel.

The Triglav has plenty of old world charm and set overlooking Lake Bled. Spectacular views from the dinning room and pool. The spa area included a pool, sauna and massage facilities which were very pleasant. The breakfasts were excellent. As was the multi course dinners. Lots of hiking opportunities in the region. And sporting opportunities in the town of Bled. The hotel is only 100 m from the train station Bled Jezero. (Although the train services are not great). Bled town is about a 25 minute walk around the lake from the hotel.

Hard to find fault.

Nice location with fabulous view to the lake. Comfy rooms and lovely receptionists. Breakfast was a la carte and fine, dinner was a real fine dining experience but a bit over-priced and do not try when really hungry.

Breakfast was fairly slow because of the a la carte mode, and unfortunately the gluten-free bread was not really fresh. The scrambled tofu was tasteless, and vegan guests shouldn't expect a real culinary adventure. However, the service was fine. The wellness and spa area was quite small.

The hotel was beautiful, perfectly located, the spa facilities were lovely with views over the lake. The staff were friendly and accommodating in booking us on wine tastings/massages and bike hire. the wine tasting was really fun and informative, the bikes were delivered to the door and the massage was relaxing. Breakfast was great too and a good range!

- Car park spaces were limited and a bit tight but we managed to park each day. - The restaurant was very posh and we would have preferred some simple options for dinner as we wanted a casual evening with a casual menu. When we did eat in the restaurant it was lovely though!

This hotel was amazing. It’s a bit off the beaten path but well worth the extra trek required to get there. I walked from the bus station along the path around the lake and then up a rather steep hill to get there, it took about 20-25 minutes. But you can also take a cab. The hotel itself is in a beautiful location, my view was the lake on one side and the mountains on the other. The staff are wonderful and so accommodating. They have bikes that are free to use. The free breakfast was next level delicious, and the views from the dining room are stunning. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Just a heads up that the hotel is on the other się of the lake then the center od the town. Also, train station was not working at the timer of my visit, which of course is not hotels foult at all, but based on the advise recieved before my arrival I planed my trip with a train in mind. Finding an alternative while on a go took a while. Could be easly fixed with morę updated info pack.

The location and the view are fantastic; its away from all the tourists in the city of Bled. Beds are comfortable, staff is friendly and the food and wine are lovely.

The hotel is a bit outdated. Its a beautiful building with art nouveau details, but that's ruined in the nighties by plastic window frames and suspended ceilings. It takes away the allure it pretends to have and I guess the only way to reach that is to recover these elements. For me personally it makes the hotel more interesting though than most other hotels.

Beautiful hotel with a breathtaking view, very nice big room and very nice breakfast. The indoor swimmingpool was great add but what stood up for me most was the kindness of the staff probably the nicest hotel staff I ever met especially the nice lady who came to the station and helped me with my luggage after I arrived big thank you and sorry I forgot your name. Will recommend the hotel to everyone I know it is the best place to relax.

One of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed in - the hotel itself has so much charm and antiques everywhere (super interesting history on its ownership too). But it was clean, had central air in our room, incredible views of the lake (balcony!), free bike rentals, and free breakfast that was one of my favorite meals in Slovenia. The property also has its own wine cellar and has an extensive Slovenian wine list. Pool and sauna as well. Yuri (sp?) at the front desk and all the other staff were so helpful with suggestions, helping us order taxis, etc. Hotel Triglav will be my first suggestion for Bled!

Really peaceful and classic hotel. I enjoyed the atmosphere and lake view with the morning sun. Breakfast felt really classic with a slovenian touch and when standing in the balcony I could really feel special atmosphere of the Julian Alps. Shower worked perfectly and if you need there is also television with international channels. Railway station is within a walking distance, only like 2-3 minutes from hotel door.

My single room was pretty small, so if you need lot of space that might be a problem. I could hear trains passing by, does not bother me personally but if trains early in the morning bother you, be prepared.
