Grand Plaza Gulf Hotel

Overall we had a nice stay in the hotel, and we would definitely recommend it to others looking for a suitable stay near the city. The hotel is conveniently located near all the attractions in the area, and offers an array of amenities and comforts. The room service was prompt and efficient, and the breakfast selection was good.

The only issue I felt with the hotel was that the bathroom was quite small. The pool was only for men and children, but ladies were allowed to take advantage of it as well. To make everyone feel welcome, I suggest incorporating special ladies-only times to the pool's schedule. When I stayed there, the pool opened at 9:30 am and closed at 4:00 pm; this could be adjusted to provide ladies-only hours during the day. This would certainly make sure all guests feel welcome and enjoy the pool.

Everything actually exceeded my expectations as i've assumed its going to be similar to "Grand Plaza Al Dhebab" , but this one really was MUCH better overall. Staff were really friendly and helpful , the rooms were bigger and more comfortable than i expected.

The Location was the only problem. Not that i hated the Location , but its in a bit of scuffle especially during rush hour which is pretty much starts at 1 PM - 6 PM , if you happen to wake up a bit late , you're pretty much getting stuck in traffic for a while

The carpet in the room was smelling bad and the crib mattress was old and in bad conditions The crib wasn't clean properly Our baby couldn't 👶 sleep there in the crib The water and hygienic paper wasn't replace and the same time when the clean the room, we should ask for it. We lost the baby food we bring with us because the refrigerator wasn't working properly

Stayed at the Grand Plaza and it was an absolute 5/5 experience! The standard rooms are lovely, offering all the comfort you'd need. What stood out the most was the hotel staff; they were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location couldn't be better – right in the heart of everything, making it super easy to explore the area. Both check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Couldn't have asked for a better stay! Will definitely come back to this hotel the next time I'm in Riyadh.

don't know where to start. It was breathing from the time we checked in.The hotel was good decorated with dedicated parking area. The room was nice and spacious with a great view. I used the hotel to book for most of tours and the prices were reasonable with discounts. The restaurant on the first floor, the breakfast buffet was tasty and so much food to choose from. The breakfast team also very helpful and supportive . Thank you for love and dedication to your job. . The room service people were on point, our room was cleaned and organized . Our 3 days was flawless and made so many memories. We sure be coming back soon. ❤ 💙 Not forgetting support we got from Mr. Hany Mohamed and all concierge team..

hospitality customer service team cleanness Services my experience in general was perfect i arrived around 2 am and the receptionist Mohammad Asharf was incredibly friendly and was very quick in checking me in as i told him that my wife was a bit sick, he even extended the support and take an extra mile by providing me things i requested and send it to my room and save my time from driving around late night looking for what i need thank you Mohammad Asharf for your kindness and help i really appreciate my stay in this hotel and definitely will stay there next time i visit Riyadh also i would like to highlight that am a customer experience specialist and i really appreciated that Mr. Hani Ahmad texted me asking about my stay which means a lot to any one with a customer experience background. thank you Grand plaza team for your amazing hospitality

Everything was perfect and the food amazing! Room service was very quick and all our requests were met with enthusiasm. At breakfast, the hotel manager went out of his way to check whether we were happy with our accommodation and asked whether we needed anything else. My wife's dress was creased and they steamed free of charge. On the last day we had a late check out 3.30pm as we had a midnight flight out from Riyadh. We had meetings throughout the day so we couldnt get back to the hotel until much later so they arranged for our luggage to be taken fom our room (710) and stored at the reception. Would have preferred a room that had not been smoked in. Minor detail

From the moment of checking in, we had a welcoming experience. The receptionist quickly arranged our room and gave us accommodation on the same floor, our large family was taken care of. We appreciated the courteous and friendly services from the staff. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory, and room services were speedy. There was a great underground parking area at the hotel. The great part was that we got to enjoy a cheap rate during the Eid break.

The one downside was the small bathrooms, but otherwise our stay was lovely. The pool is male and child-exclusive, but since our extended family occupied the entire pool, this did not affect us. The pool was open from 9:30am to 4:00pm during our stay.

it’s the second time we stay at this hotel, because it’s simply fantastic. it’s clean, nice, comfortable and quiet. Beds are really comfortable, and the 24h open rooftop is a great asset where you can chill and take a bath after a long day. it’s well placed in central Riyadh in a calm area. The staff is also really friendly and welcoming, be it at the reception, at the cafe or the cleaning service team. While being discreet and respectful, they also check on you to make sure you are having a good experience. I should also mention that the cleaning times are very flexible. I wouldn’t mind staying a third time if I come back to Riyadh.

The rooms were very clean large and well equipped! There was initially a problem with a drain and the fridge but this was fixed promptly. The hotel's central location is perfect for exploring Riad in all directions. The staff is attentive and well trained. The breakfast is rich and delicious as is the room service. The prices for the food are cheap and the general price-performance ratio is great! We extended our stay several times because we felt very comfortable here! We can definitely recommend the hotel!

-you only get plastic cutlery with the room service -the windows could offer better soundproofing (You can hear the traffic but it was bearable)
