Great location with all must-see attractions of Sentosa in 5-10 minutes of nice walk in beautiful environment. Friendly, helpful and caring staff who are ready to assist in any situation. Clean, fresh and cozy facilities. Personal approach to the guests. Special thanks to amazing Emily Chan! She is like an old friend - caring, warm-hearted and love-giving. Thanks to the reception, restaurant and housekeeping team! Thanks to Aree, Ding Huan and Jack Mohan! Thanks to them our trip to Singapore is one of the best experiences we had. We would also advise to go for the audio-guide tour around the Hotel vicinity which you can find on the hotel's website. If we come back, then it would be definitely The Barracks Hotel. Highly recommended to everyone!

Location was great, the smaller 40-room hotel with personal attention was much better than the Marina Bay Sands hotel we have previouslly stayed in when we were last in Singapore. Afternnon snacks and drinks plus inclusive breakfast were much appreciated. They even drove us on the day of our departure to our cruise as Chinese New Year caused taxi problems. If your're coming to Singapore stay here. Really, stay here.

Breakfast and options was outstanding and we were able to use Le Faubourg across the courtyard as an excellent option also. Very quiet, comfortable and relaxing location next to the pools. Farther, timings were organised such that it was never "busy". Short walk to Imbiah MRT and the beaches along with all activities including world class light shows, Resorts World, Universal studios, cable cars, nature walks, beach bars, quiet beach clubs and cafes. Staff at the hotel were just amazing! I have travelled the world for the last 30 years and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel.

This is a high quality hotel, not like the others in Sentosa like Outpost, Equarius, Oasia etc I like the cosy feeling and the personalised service. The best of this hotel is the cocktail hour (including canapes and complimentary free flow wine and cocktails) and the free flow of coffee and snacks throughout the day. Anything that is free taste better! The rooms are beautiful, comfy and decent size. The breakfast has the typical continental and Asian. You can pick one starter and one main. The quality is quite decent We went for a birthday and they surprised us with a nice cake

Some improvements: 1-cocktails are all tea based, I would love to have the possibility to change - didn't like them. 2- the avocado toast has a funny avocado spread but not real avocado... Not great 3- I'd except a fresh orange juice and not a cartoon one 4- the pillows are too thick, all of the options

We stayed in Singapore for 3 nights to break our journey from the U.K. to Sydney, Australia. We chose this hotel based on the previous reviews and we were not disappointed. Excellent boutique hotel, well run with a wonderful group of staff. Beautiful, colonial style building over two floors. Good sized rooms with excellent facilities and large, comfy beds. Beautiful views across the swimming pool from the balcony. Lovely, peaceful pool with fresh towels on hand. Everywhere is immaculately clean. Beautifully cooked breakfast and excellent customer service in the dining room. The canapés and cocktails in the afternoon were a lovely addition. All the staff are helpful and polite, their personal service was exceptional. We lost the key to our case and Vivien arranged within minutes for a man to come with a hacksaw to break off the lock..Sentosa is outside the main City but there are a number of excellent restaurants just outside the hotel and a buggy to take guests to the beach. We highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely return when we travel to Australia again. Thank you everyone for a wonderful stay.

Although room service was available. The bar and restaurant closed very early and so there was no opportunity for drinks and socialising with other guests later in the evening on return from dinner.

well appointed, choice of pillows, free flow cocktail hour, lovely breakfasts, good location, friendly staff.

Peaceful & Tranquil it’s the perfect gateway from the other busy part of the island. Cause it is a small property you can definitely have maximum privacy either lazying by the pool or lounging at The Living Room for some afternoon tea or canapé ❤️. A heartfelt thank you to The Barracks team Emily, Natalie, Jia Ming and a few others whom I did not get their name for your impeccable service and making my stay a memorable one. Lastly, also wanna thank housekeeper Ding Yun (forgive me if i got it wrong) for spotting me & wife looking lost outside The Village Hotel and guiding me to The Barracks by offering to hold my luggage and allowing us to walk the sheltered corridor which is only accessible to Barracks guest only instead of walking along the courtyard under the sorching heat. No gym on-site and it’s located at The Village Hotel but it’s a minor inconvenience.

Absolutely beautiful premises and very friendly and genuine staff Very thoughtfully set out and the signature tea is outstanding Evening canapés are a must, as are the cocktails, and the pools are elegant and impressive

Almost no negatives Only thing is the standard wine list - needs a significant refresh - happy to help if needed However a very minor blip on an otherwise very impressive high end boutique hotel

We love everything about it. It’s location. It’s quaint setting. Very nostalgic. Very colonial. Very private. The service from every staff the moment we came in was top notch. From the uncle at the lift lobby, to Adikin and Que from guest counter, Nizam, Thomas, Natalie, Vivien, Jia Ming and Gabby at the Loving room, to the people who made our rooms Ding Huan, everything was top top notch. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Going back home.

Excellent. Everything was perfect - they treated us like royal! The most wonderful people work there. :) Highly recommendated... perfect serentity and closureness to everything! We loved it.

The other guests were so rude! :( it is incredible how they ruin this place with listening to mobile films youtube etc. or let their children run and scream. I would highly recommend to allow only children from 12yrs. on - would add so much value to the premises.
