Grand Copthorne Waterfront

The staff where awesome and friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great big spread.

Some things are outdated carpets look dirty and worn, Beds are very hard, there was small amounts of mould in our shower, before I booked and after I booked I sent emails wanting wheelchair accessible room but sadly no responce even flight centre tried for me and no reply and our room didn't really suit my disabled wife and first shower she almost slipped and fell so I asked for a non slip mate for shower floor but overall it was just ok I'm just disappointed they never replied to my emails about disabled or wheelchair access. And for buffet dinner for what you pay it was disappointing.

There were a couple of areas in the room that looked a bit tired or dated, particularly in the bathroom where it looked like there had been water leakage? Room 3023.

excellent location and breakfast. very friendly and helpfull staff. beautiful seating on the river front with food and drink service. comfortable rooms.

however room service staff and operator needs more training. was told by telephone operator that there is no refreidgerator in the rooms..... actually there was near the writing table.. also some of the room delivery staff do not speak english which is a problem. plug points on the wall are 3 pin with child lock. very difficult to use a 2 pin plug unless there is a adaptor. water did not drain well in the wash basin. pillows are too high.

Location. There is a lot to explore around the hotel. We love the dining options and experience and this would be one reason we may come back again. The ambience along the riverside is also awesome.

There is nothing not to like about the hotel, its service and the amenities. Just wished that we could have stayed a little longer to allow us to enjoy the facilities, the riverside walks and dining.

The location was excelient and we had a nice room. The bar staff were very friendly as were the reception staff and bell boys. In the main the breakfast staff were friendly.

The breakfast area was much to small for the number of rooms and was very crowded and the area where eggs were cooked was small and the frying pans looked rather worn so that fried eggs nearly aiways broke. Poached eggs were not drained properly and when bacon ran out there was none in reserve and it took 20 minutes to replace so all other food got cold. It would also be helpful if there was information about the hotel provided in the rooms i.e. restaurants etc and also how to indicate how "make up room" and "room occupied" is shown as we did not know and our room was never made up unless we asked reception and even after we were told how to indicate it still was not made up until we asked reception

A very nice hotel in a premier location. Quiet and yet easy access to transport and facilities. Excellent breakfast with a wide selection of multi-national cuisine and good coffee. Plenty of seating available at all times. The breakfast room was located in a nice part of the hotel with plenty of natural light and pleasant outlook. Staff were polite and attentive. Will stay again in future. Highly recommended.

The main hotel lobby does not have adequate seating for guests waiting to check in or to check out. The room was nice and comfortable and the towels were changed everyday. However, the bed linen was not changed for the entire week we were there.

The hotel is excellent value. It's facilities leave many supposed 5-star hotels we've stayed at to shame. Now that Havelock MTR (underground rail network) has opened, and being 200 metres away, access to much of Singapore island is now easily available. While it may seem to be away from the action, the reality is that with the MTR, and a scenic short walk beside the Singapore River to Clarke Quay and its restaurants and bars as well as those along the way, the Grand Copthorne Waterfront is a perfect location to experience old and new Singapore. The expansive view from our room was an additional bonus. We've stayed at many Singapore hotels over the years, but I can honestly say that from now on, it will be the Grand Copthorne Waterfront for future stays! A special 'thanks' to all of the staff, but particularly Shirley Chng, for her cheerful assistance and service, which added to our stay experience. 😊

Nothing. We were really impressed with every aspect of the hotel and its staff.

Breakfast good. I stayed for 3N. Aircon superb cold though set at 26c. The only issue is that there are not many racks for me and my husband to put our things, aside from a writing table. It will be great if more panels be installed especially in a big premier room like ours. Both of us were working in the room, but there is only 1 writing table, and other table was simply too small for us to put our 2nd laptop.

The coffee table is simply too small. Not enough racks or shelving for us to put our things in the living room, too small the space for us to put our toiletries in the bathroom as well.

Comfortable, staff were fantastic, Nazim on the front desk was great. Danael on Concierge also worth special mention, he was always willing to help and answer questions. Both demonstrated great customer service. The breakfast was also wonderful with great options and so much choice with differnt cuisines to choose from. The staff were fantastic, my daughter has a Gluten allergy and the staff were very attentative and helpful. The facilities were great with lots of choices and top class. Finally, the location is a major bonus, very straightforward getting to must see locations of Marina Sands & Gardens by the Bay and many others. Loved our time with Grand Copthorne.

The view from the room, the spacious room, the good aircon, the breakfast, the complimentary parking.

No shelving in room despite the big space, so we cannot put our things. There was only a writing table and a mini coffee table, which are inadequate for both my husband and I to put both our laptops and work from there. We stayed for 2N and extended another night, so total 3N stay. There holding area in the washroom to put the toiletries is also very small, and we could not put both our toiletry bags there, can only squeeze in 1 of them. The pool is very small too.
