BEAT. Sports Hostel

Checking in process and welcoming staff. Location excellent. Bus stop right outside takes you to many attractions. 2 train stations just 7 mins away, starbucks 7 mins walk.

This is no reflection on staff or place, but guests talk loudly on phone without earphones or play films without earphones in communal space. Guests leave hair in sink and leave used toilet tissue laying on cubical floor. They don't think that another guest will use the toilet and no staff on duty at night. The room I was in there are no modesty screens. Perhaps this could be considered.

Location is amazing. The bus stop right in front of the hostel. Metro not too far. Good coffee downstairs. Good food in little India around the corner. Hostel is in good shape. I also liked the good and big lockers.

The hostel vibe is unpersonal. Nobody greets each other, also the staff seams to be there to do the necessary. Not unfriendly but you don't feel like asking for information there. Hostel guests don't clean up there traces. It would be quite clean, if people would for example take away there black hair from the basin after brushing.

I like the mattress as it was confortable. I also like to have a curtain so more privacy. The little space you have if perfect and big storage under the bed. Bathroom was clean and only for girls. I like to be in only girls dorm. Kitchen/reception room is ok. Nice to have a big mirror and a weight machine in the room.

The noise ! Was horrible, can hear the traffic all day and night ! The window was not closing properly ! Also the aircon is noisy. Didn't really feel safe working around the hostel at night, lot of pub and drunk people or empty dark streets. Wifi is bad, not good connection at all. The noise when you open your storage space. Had an issue with the lock of the door so for one night door was not lock but was fixed the next day. They is a sport area but really not much there.

I like the hospitality of the staff, especially the Guy name 'Gabriel' if im not mistaken whose responsible in cleaning and changing bedsheet. Hotel has no elevator, the guy helped me to bring my luggage from 3rd floor, and provide the things i requested or ask. Area looks clean everytime he do his work. He cleaned the garbage when a drunk visitor kick it, also he change heavy bedsheets and double deck in all rooms alone, i must commend him for his hardwork and I think he need additional personnel for the job to help him.

Theres no elevator and no place for people who would like to have wfh setup which is quiet.

Arrive after 7pm so do not have much interaction with the staff. But clear self check in instruction was given. I was in the capsule Mixed Dorm which is very value to the price paid and highly recommended. There were 2 International adapter and light in the capsule itself which is very helpful as you do not need to take your own converter for electronic devices charging. no shoes in room policy makes the room clean. with the price I’ve paid I’m very happy with the condition of the stay. bus station is just 50meter away which is very handy. and close to the town centre with short ride of bus / MRT.

the only drawback is the shower leaking in Female bathroom (2 out of 3 were leaking) which potentially wet your hanging clothes. toilet cleanliness maybe need some attention. But overall it is acceptable and still very happy for the price paid for. will still recommended to people

Easy after-hours check-in with simple and accurate instructions - very well organised. The place felt clean and bright, and the air-conditioning was cool. The rules/expectations were clear. Nice size locker with each bed. Comfy pillow and blanket. Places to explore around the area and not far from 3 train stations with a variety of lines for easy transport around the city! I was grateful to be able to leave a bag after checking out to collect later.

Not suitable for disabled or elderly as there are many stairs up to reception and rooms. I noticed a few things around, mostly in the bathroom, that could do with some attention - small replacements/repairs required. It's not a casual walk into the 'city centre', although there are some places to explore nearby and are several train stations close by.

A good hostel overall but kinda far from the marina, the atmosphere is kind of dead in the hostel and it’s hard to meet new people compared to other hostels. The beds are comfortable and there is a place to lock your things which is great. Unfortunately there is only one shower which is usable because the other ones you can’t lock. The manager of the place is friendly but one employee was very unprofessional and told me I had to pay a check out fee even though that wasn’t true.

I like the lobby. You can play games socialize and read a book. The kitchen has everything you need even love the free tea and coffee. The beds are comfy. The staff are very nice. Theres a Foodcourt downstairs if you're on a budget. A bus stop is just beside it so it's really easy to go to places

The toilet needs more maintenance especially male toilet. The female toilet is fine. A little bit of stain on the bed but not noticeable it's just me ig. I didn't really mind tho.

staffs are relatively nice (compared to other hostel in singapore, idk why sg hostel staff is not friendly). i like the common area to chill and doing ny work. Toilet is clean. Wifi is fast. Bus stop is right in front of the door, but MRT is a bit far

the basic bunk bed room looks sad. 6 people cramped in a tiny space without window. But for cheap price i guess i have no other option. Locker can be opened with any key, the key hole is almost broke. I tried opening other peoples locker and yeah... never put my stuff other than clothes in the locker

All the staffs are very polite, friendly and helpful. Bus stop is nearby. Little India is located within 12 minutes walking distance. So many restaurants nearby.

This accommodation is located in the first floor. Therefore you have to carry your luggages. I normally give full recommendation for the accommodations and restaurants. But I give the level that is one before the full scale. Because toilets and the showers are clean. But not very clean.
