paying for parking? really not good at the price a car should be included- VERY disappointed at this charge. And then to say there is a charge for room safe? are you kidding me? 150e plus a night and want to charge to use a room safe?? nuts! it’s security it’s not a nice to have. if something stolen as it’s not in safe think of damage to hotel reputation and the hassle and time dealing with incident. I find it completely incredulous this charge is being expected. not acceptable. no mention of parking charge or room safe charge on booking.com website info.

Central location and walking distance to everywhere in Tavira centre. Good breakfast selection.

There apparently is parking at the hotel but for an extra cost. Otherwise you need to park in the road. Apparently summer is chaos, so not sure whether you would find parking. No coffee station in the "4 star" hotel room when you wake up, disappointing. To use the in-room safe is an extra charge per day. No towels or cleaning material in the gym. Breakfast room is very dark. No tables for couples or for 4 people near the windows/doors facing the pool/garden area.

The property has all the needed amenities for you to enjoy a hassle free leisure trip. We found value for money with the half board included. Lunch available at the pool bar is also on average. All star was extremely helpful. A personal cheers to a Portuguese cleaning staff lady with curly hair and glasses. She was a blast :) while traveling with a toddler, the kids pool was great ( still not as great as other Vila Galé’s)

On high season period, breakfast and dinner can be a bit caos respectively after 9:30am and 8:30 pm. If possible avoid those periods. Public parking outside is limited and required payment. Parking at the hotel ( at a fee) is still the best option.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were of a good quality but a little basic. The evening dinner which we had once was very good quality and the breakfast was good. Overall a good property but we think we paid just a little over the odds at over 200 Eur per night.

The bathrooms were clean and functional but slightly small. We had to pay a 2.5 Euro per day fee for using the safe. Probably didn't need it but it is the only place I've been charged. There were no irons / ironing boards in the room. The hotel bar lacked any real atmosphere despite the lovely staff.

Lovely hotel. Staff kind and helpful. Room had a refrigerator and good wall A/C unit. Gorgeous view out on balcony of pool and resort with a distant ocean view. Breakfast was great. Plenty of fresh fruit, coffee, omelettes, cheese (especially the brie), breads and more. Nice staff there. Location was great. We walked everywhere in Tavira from there, and we were close to the road to go to other towns without having to drive in the tiny curving streets.

Likely short staffed in the kitchen for breakfast, however, tables weren't cleared in a timely fashion and one day we got the last clean and set table. Others had to clear a table for themselves and find coffee cups and silverware before staff started clearing tables. One worker in the lounge would not wait on my husband who wanted to purchase a bottle of water in the afternoon. It wasn't busy. He waited patiently while other people were waited on as he stood there. Finally, when someone else was going to be served ahead of him, he spoke up and demanded to be acknowledged. Have no idea what that was about. These are minor issues. Overall, we had a fabulous time and would stay here again.

Breakfast very good and delicious especially the coffee, pancakes, breads, oranges, pastries . Would love to see more artisan products such as local cheeses, charcuterie, more variety of fruits, smoothies. A special each morning would also be more interesting.

Would like to have a more interesting communal experience such as local artists, craft exhibitions on occasion, something of interest in the lobby areas. Perhaps a library? A stimulating environment? A shop? Beauty products from the spa? Anything special going on in Tavira, general area? Maps? We did not hear about Praia dos Tesos

A very large, spacious and clean hotel. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant and the room and bathroom were well appointed.

This is a family oriented hotel so be aware if you arrive during school holidays as we did, it will be inundated with families with small, noisy children. The music at the pool was intrusive and unwanted by us and most other adults. The activities were of course aimed at children but were noisy and intrusive to an otherwise peaceful poolside afternoon. The breakfast room is large and noisy. You may wish to avoid during school holidays when the breakfast experience can accurately be described as managed “carnage”

friendly and helpful staff. This was my second stay at the hotel, and the room (1045) this time on the ground floor was excellent, and had a walk-in shower as I requested (although a non-slip mat and a grab-bar on the wall would have helped me to feel more secure) due to my disability. I was also very pleased this time to have a kettle and coffee making facilities in the room.

I was surprised this stay to have to pay for the use of the safe in the room. There was no charge last year, and neither at the Vila Gale in Lagos where I stayed after leaving Tavira,.

The hotel was very close to the center of the town, restaurants and ferry to the beach island. We had a standard room with view over the town and it suited us well. Very tasty fresh oranges were served at breakfast.

The room was not so clean when we arrived - e.g. there was hair on the floor in the bathroom. We missed fresh vegetables at breakfast - there were tomatoes and very dry cucumbers from second day on during our stay (none during first breadfast), but nothing more. It would have been great with some sallad, onion, paprika and fresher cucumbers.

Breakfast is awesome- everyone can find smth tasty, diffrent bread, sweet cakes, fresh fruits + all standard things - all was super good, The dining room is big so there was always some space to sit, no need to wait for the table Waitress very helpful and smile 10/10, All the hotel,rooms, dining rooms, swimming pool Area, toilets on the corridors- everything was very clean- thank you for this all the chambermaids Ladies. All the reception stuff- always ready to help- nice english We travelled with 2children(6 months and 3y) Hotel provided small bed for 6months but 3y child slept with us in the bed- bed are very big and comfortable do no issue about this.

1 week is not enough ;)
