Porto Coliseum Hotel

The location is great. The room is nice and very clean. It’s ideal for one person. The shower y wonderful. I love being able to have a safe in the room. The Wifi connection works very well . There are extra pillows and blankets

The room was too noisy even though it was located in the fifth level. Too many drunk people shouting away and also the traffic : motorbikes and cars speeding and making extra noise. It was impossible to sleep the whole night. Breakfast is nice if you stay one night, otherwise , every day is the same food. The only food they change is the pastries.

Within easy walking distance to centre. Room had a separate comfortable sitting area behind an open dividing wall. All the staff were friendly and helpful, but especially the Breakfast staff. Having serious food allergies, they had bought in and kept separate breakfast foods that I could safely eat; and at the end of our stay had made sandwiches for my train journey. I really appreciated their care and attention. Although it is a small hotel, the service was very personal. Would book this hotel again.

I found the bed mattresses a little hard, but that is a personal choice.

Staff were very accommodating and check in was easy. Hotel is convenient for town and no problemsin visiting surrounding area. Roof top seating but no bar, staff very happy though for you to take your own drinks. Breakfast a little slim on choice but again staff id what they could. Great pizza italian on roof top of car park opposite. We had a suite which was lovely and spacious, ideal for theatre next door which we sadly did n't take advantage of.

Very central, about 10-15 mins walk to the river and the bridges, with spectacular views from the top. Close to lots of other tourist sites away from thy river, shopping etc. The hotel was great, clean rooms, friendly staff, continental breakfast on the rooftop, with views. We had the best coffee and Portuguese tarts just near the hotel at Delta The Coffee House Experience Porto. You can see staff making the tarts there and I think they were the best I tried.

A wonderful sized suite. We initially booked for 3 nights but needed to extend for an additional night due to the fact that we were waiting for our luggage to arrive from the airport. Even though the hotel was practically full for the final night and all that was available was a much smaller room -the wonderful reception staff were able to work their magic & extend our stay in the same room. All the staff were wonderful & breakfast on the rooftop was included which was a bonus. I chose the hotel because of the location & price & was not disappointed.

The only thing I can fault would be the fact that there weren't any basic toiletries supplied apart from soap & shampoo. We arrived very late at night without our bags which hadn't arrived with us on the flight from London & we didn't even have a toothbrush. Some basic supplies including a comb would have been a nice touch as is standard in other hotels around the world.

Very well located. Clean and tidy. Rooms are basic but nicely decorated and comfortable. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast is also basic but served at the six’s floor terrace overlooking the area. Location is great - just a few steps to almost all main attractions. However a bit noisy:) better to close a window and use air conditioning.

Almost nothing, but coffee needs some improvement

Very helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. One of our rooms was upgraded. Nice location, but you may want somewhere nearer the Douro River if you don't like hills (but hills are everywhere). Rooms quiet. Breakfasts are basic but good value. 24/7 room service.

Towels and room not cleaned on one day. Breakfast could have more choice for hot food other than scrambled and boiled eggs

The location of the hotel is reall good and near the main spots of the city. Breakfast is good, but not very special (average breakfast). The Room was very clean and the stuff was friendly.

The bathroom is in an open concept with the rest of the room. So no privacy when showering or on the toilet (separated only by a frosted glass) . Breakfast could have a greater variety.

It's a small hotel but it has everything you may need. Super conveniently located, very close to the main shopping street and 5' from the center on foot. The room had a kettle. Staff were really nice and accommodating, they even let us check in early.

Despite being on the top floor, every night/early morning we heard the noise from people coming out of a disco further down the street. If you stay here make sure to bring your earplugs to avoid that.

Great location for tourists looking to explore the old part of town or the other side of the river. Spacious room. Plenty of space for lots of luggage. Toilet separate from the sink and shower. Good shower.

We asked to get a taxi booked for our early train. We were told just to call down 5 minutes before, as the reception is 24 hours. We did but no one was around. Eventually had to call our own uber.
