Staff we met, Very friendly, at reception especially as it`s their job to make us welcome but they go the extra mile and so so helpful. We checked out in the morning and we were able to leave our bags in a secure location near reception as we wanted to visit the University, so 5* there ! We asked for restaurant tips and on their advice had a meat experience like no other, Prazeres da Carne https://maps.app.goo.gl/94A2GWaEwaVH7vB79 That is a unique dining experience for meat afficionados

Breakfast facilities could be better as it`s all cold cuts but I`m a bit fussy as anything less than a buffet, egg, bacon, sausages oodles of toast and real good espresso, I`m unhappy lol.

The location was excellent, just a short walk over the bridge to Coimbra's old town. The breakfast was good. The hotel doesn't have parking, but there is a parking garage nearby.

Great location, pretty rooms and an okay view. Staff was very friendly and explained everything well and in English. Material of the towels and bedsheets was also pleasant. And the fact that you could get in at all times, at night via a night door, was amazing.

The shower stand for the shower head was broken so I had to keep it in my hand which was a little uncomfortable. There was a tourist tax of 1 euro per person which was a bit random. And the rooms definitely weren't sound proof like the description said.

The staff and services are EXCEPTIONAL!!!! We had two early morning departures that didn't allow us to take advantage of the breakfast hours, but the staff went out of their way to provide us with an earlier breakfast and food to take away. This was very important to us because we had no other way to obtain food at the early hour. We also wanted to upgrade to a slightly larger room because there was no storage (shelves or dressers in our room where we were staying for 7 nights) but the hotel was fully booked. However, they kept working on it and did move some things around in their reservations to provide us with a better room which we found to be VERY helpful. The breakfast was terrific. Good variety and good quality. Great location. Very near the convention center, where I needed to be, and still very close to the river and the center of town. The beds were comfortable. Good value!

Our first room had no drawers or shelves and we were staying for 7 days so this was an important feature. BUT they did find us another room the next day even though they were fully booked.

Staff was very lovely and helpful. The hotel was great, room was tidy and clean, and had everything I needed. The room was large and cosy.

The only con was the noise, as the room doesn't have a good sound insulation, any noise on the corridor was very audible inside of the room. Even thou the periods of noise, I still had a good stay and wish all the best to the hotel and staff. Thank you for the services.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, the old town is within walking distance and there are several restaurants and cafés right next door. The rooms are fresh and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was tasty, although with a small selection for us. Overall impression good, could stay again.

If the room is facing the street, the window cannot be kept open for fresh air, the street is very noisy even at night, fortunately there are noise-proof windows. For us, the choice of breakfast was scarce and monotonous, just scrambled eggs and bacon, from fresh stuff just a few slices of tomato, no fresh fruits or salads. We had 3 identical breakfasts.

It is on the other side of the river but we didn’t mind, the location is still good. The staff at the front desk was really helpful. The hotel and room are very well kept (except the windows in the rooms that for some reason were always leaking water).

The windows sort of not keeping the water out (it was pouring outside, so maybe that’s why)

Beds were comfy, the ac was working quietly, bathroom was clean, we had hot water, it was quiet (room from the courtyard side)

There was no kettle, so we couldn’t make teas (there was a vending machine where you could buy it and nice lady told us that she could boil water for us but it’s still not very convenient)

Super location with a nice view to the river Mondego and ruins of Santa Clara-a-Velha, close to the center with 5 min walk. 10 min walk to Quinta das Lagrimas. Very polite and helpfull staff. When leaving early in the morning they gave me a breakfast package for the travel without charging for extras.

Silent room, byt a little bit trafic noise when opsending the Windows.

The room was comfortable and decent size. The location, across the river but easy walking distance to the lower part of the city was very good for me as I arrived by car.

The parking situation is ok for an overnight stay but more complicated for longer stays.
