Hotel Beira Mar

The view was phenomenal. Was facing the ocean and the beach directly. it could not have been any better. Unfortunately, we had to leave early in the morning for the airport and did not get to have breakfast. However, we had dinner at the restaurant the evening of our arrival, and the food was incredible. It was an excellent meal, superb quality, at a very reasonable price.

The room had two twin beds and they were a bit small, if it were two double beds it would have been a bit more spacious. The beds were quite comfortable even though they may have been smaller than what we are used to.

Location, location, location! A great central location close to many amenities, cafes, shops and tourist destinations. Great, helpful staff - attentive and friendly! The hotel's restaurant was also great - great food, great service and great value. Loved the private balcony facing the ocean and beach. Overall quite pleased with this hotel, with the exception of it feeling and looking a bit tired.

Overall quite pleased with this hotel, with the exception of it feeling and looking a bit tired. Decor is somewhat outdated, the washroom needs a renovation - door to the bathroom did not close properly, fixtures and decor were outdated and lacked a WOW factor.

We really liked the location of the hotel. It has an easy access to the center, beach, restaurants, shops, etc. Our room was big, clean, with an amazing view. The buffet breakfast offers a good range of options, such as eggs, cold cuts, breads, fresh fruit, beverages.

There were a few things that we weren't thrilled about: the wifi was very sporadic. There were only 2 outlets in the room, and none of them was near the bed. Also the ductless AC is too close to the bed, so during the nights we were either freezing when it was on or being hot otherwise. The room is quite big, it would probably make sense to move the beds to the opposite wall.

Very comfortable, nice hotel direct to the harbour with fantastic view over the beach. Room was big, clean, bright and well equiped, staff was very nice and helpful. They also offerd a place for the car in the garage beneath. Breakfast was excellent with big offer (cereals, ham and eggs, cake, fruits, toasted bread, pancakes, etc.) :)

Nothing to complain about the hotel, but the restaurant as part of the hotel. The food was delicious, but the staff was very unfriendly, they didn't speak english (or just as they want), i didn't get what i ordered, and as i mentioned, they told me i should take it because everything else is not available anymore (suddenly) and they tried to cheat me at payment... :(

While I was paying I notice that shown at the desk was $65 euros a night. Did not much with the price I paid. Next time I will deal directly with the hotel. I like the place, location and the staff.but I could have saved money if I booked directly. That is what I will recommend to my friends and family.the

Really great place, nice staff and tidy rooms. Tasty breakfast.

No parking lot so prepare yourself for parking far away. Late at night there were a group of people with trumpet and they were shouting, we barely slept bzt the receptionist talked with them. The breakfast was not in the hotel but the neighbor restaurant and the pigeons were eating our breakfast.

Good location, very clean, good size room. The only thing that I have to mention (that has nothing to do with the hotel) is the sound of the ocean waves. I am not an expert in acoustics but the waves felt only 1 meter away with windows opened and 10 meters away when closed. My point is that they were loud!

I stayed here before so, obviously, I wouldn't come again if I didn't like it)) This establishment is located right in the old centre of Angra, at the shorefront, I've got a comfortable room with a beautiful sea view. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Several nice restaurants nearby. Very satisfied.

Parking is sometimes difficult (but not impossible), however, given the central location, there is really nothing that can be done about it))

The Hotel was EXCELLENT , the Service SUPER , I m HIGHLY recommending the Beira Mar Hotel .Food both for breakfast and at their restaurant was Super. A 5 stars stay for me.

As with anything in life we always can improve but can't remember anything to tell them to change VERY Happy with them .A 5 star experience for me.From the 3 receptionists to ALL the staff I dealt with.

The breakfast was good. The hotel location is exceptional: it is located just some metres from the ocean and at the same time it is very central. Great place if you are keen on water sports or exploration of the area.
