It’s generally very nicely renovated castle and the area is kept well maintained. I liked in particular that there is a part of history preserved and the hotel have as an option to have a tour guide around the castle to explain the historical side of the place. I liked the activities provided ( bonfire, bike hire, water bike hire, walking paths), spa.

I was highly disappointed arriving at the spa for swimm and massage to learn that they run out of towels at 2pm and the receptionist offering me a lightly used one instead! That was shocking! Think some of the staff are not trained to provide a high customer service, this would apply to some of the reception staff as well, who was disorientated when asked simple questions about organisation of the activities provided by the hotel. Perhaps lack of communication between staff. Also I haven’t get a superb welcoming feeling in that place, like the people that work there are not particularly interested in it.

That breakfast is only to 10am. They should change it to 11 in my opininon. I don’t like that children can be at the swimming pool only to 8 pm according to the rules of the hotel. It’s not fair in my opinion. I suggest to prepare for clients with long hair a conditioner in the room. SPA is perfect but too expensive - I understand evrything but it is not so luxuary for such prices.

Very pleasant stay. The spacious area around the castle is very clean, it is a pleasure to take a walk there. Everything was very well thought. You can rent a bike to move around a city, you could buy local goods at a stand outside. There was a concert at the reception bar but we couldn't attend. Castle itself looked brand-new and shiny. The food was great as well. The staff was super professional and polite. The spa area can be reached by an underground tunnel, the walk was entertaining by itself :) Saunas are clean and with an enjoyable view of the outside fields. One of the best places I've ever visited. Well organized and peaceful.

This hotel was like a hidden pearl we found during our vacation trip through 11 European countries. Very good quality for such a small price. This is interesrimg place with history, there has been done major renovation works. The room was huge, the double bed was huge and we got extra normal-size bed for our 3-years old child. Staff was professional, everything was done quicly and smoothly. The pool and saunas were good with children’s pool. Do recommend this place, especially for families.

The facility is absolutely astonishing as recovered almost from the ashes, ruins. The incredible work was done to bring the light to this piece of architecture! Kudos to the investor! We spent fantastic three days in the spacious room in the Castle. One evening we had delicious dinner as we had wanted to test the chef. All I can write is - amazing, absolutely amazing beef cheeks! The staff is very kind, listening to our needs, flexible making our stay fabulous. The Spa facility is great, both swimming pool and saunas. We will be definitely back!

My recommendations are simple. Arrange the place restricted to adults with chairs and sofas for this who are the cigars and pipe lovers. I would introduce a special space for carom tables as these used to be famous in the epoch.

It is hard to say. I love everything about this place. Beautiful room. Comfortable bed. Everything you need was there. Lovely breakfast. Nice place to relax.Very nice people who are looking after all your needs.

Clean, nice facility, staff very accommodating. Restaurant for dinner was wonderful with really good service.

Everything. Room, dinner, bar and breakfast all top notch. On a lovely estate with lots of places to spread out and relax.
