The cleanliness

The shower very little water pressure hot water hit and miss. Shower controls not easy to use. However, the main problem was water leaking from the glass shower screen onto the bath tub surround and then onto the floor. After taking a shower the floor was had a considerable amount of water this made the floor very slippery. We had to use towels and 6 bath mats to soak up the water. We reported this on day 1 and was immediately moved to another room which had the same problem. We stayed in the room and managed the situation. The house keeping team were very good and replaced mats and towels daily. In my opinion the bathrooms need a complete refurbish.

We are quite satisfied with the breakfast, the selection was simple but satisfying. My husband loved the dilis especially. The ambience was great, it was like having an indoor meal in Paris -be cause of the chandeliers, the wall decor, table top decor, chairs etc. I just hoped that they will also open the Cafe during the mid afternoon so clients can opt to havecoffee and pastry. We just crossed over to McCafe and it was ok too.

We didn't like the Pool because it wasn't heated and was pretty small. The same is true with the gym, very small and not enough room to move about. The bathtub needed a restoration because it was obviously old and needed much help like repainting and maybe make it a little bigger. It was obviously outdated.

what made us choose this hotel aside from a very good location, is their grand piano because our son plays the piano, we love piano music overall. the exterior design of the hotel is beautiful and staff are so helpful and accomodating. the food is also good and I love how they prepare the tea and the iced coffee is also good, you don’t have to go out to have some good coffee and drinks. it’s worth the value. we would definitely stay here again someday

swimming pool is a bit small for my liking. mas maluwag pa yung space ng mga chairs and tables. sana kahit naadjust ng konte laki ng swimming pool.

Very chic, spacious rooms, nice staff and great location Quite new in Tagaytay, you can feel and see everything seems new. Love the bed, pillows and linen, and the spacious room. Bathroom is spacious and very clean, and the toiletries are really lovely - Damana collection. The whole hotel is actual picture perfect so this will be very popular for events

Needs improvement on the breakfast since compared to our go to hotel - taal vista and lake tagaytay which are buffet or unli order during this pandemic, but they got unlimited noodle and congee, hope that you got better bread and cereals as well. Water pressure is ok but the water temp is not consistent.Also the extra soap, shampoo and conditioner is already for sale. But still it was an awesome weekend

Hotel staff members are really friendly, and accommodating. The amenities, and the toiletries are really nice. They even have complimentary wine and other drinks in the mini ref. What’s great is the fact that there are not too many rooms, which makes your stay quite private.

I found a used loofa in the shower, which suggests that the cleaner must have overlooked, and left some parts of the room unclean. Also, the balconies were quite dirty, and there was an empty water bottle in one corner. But overall, I give a rating of 8 for cleanliness, as the bed was clean, and we had a comfortable / good sleep.

The place was situated near in the tourist spots, overlooking taal lake and the place was clean with very accommodating staff and spacious rooms.

One part i had difficulty adjusting was their bathroom specifically the plumbing part of the shower. I usually like to take hot showers but the hot and cold labels were opposite of what type of water comes out and the water is sooo hot and knobs is hard to turn. Need to upgrade those i think.

While it seemed like they had a skeletal team of staff to run the hotel during the Christmas season, everything still went smoothly :) When the bathroom had a weird smell when we first checked in, they immediately transferred us to a similar room without concerns. Breakfast was good and filling :) The slices of fruit were quit thin, but it wasn't too bothersome :) I like that the hotel had all the facilities even if it wasn't so big - pool, restaurant, gym, lounge, etc. It was also nice to be located pretty much near every place we needed to reach.

While the pool area was a great place to get some sun, the dipping pool didn't look like it was regularly cleaned.

Real nice place with nice staff ! The restaurant and place for breakfast is really cozy and really good food. You have also nice place around (malls, restaurant, fast food, and you can see the Volcano not far from the place) I recommend it !

It was a bit noisy outside because we are right next to the road, but it was okay nonetheless. Improvement on the soundproof of the windows can be make in the future to give the hotel more valuable place :)

location is excellent, the roof top viewing deck is fantastic. room was very big and comfortable. breakfast was excellent as were all the staff.

my only real criticism is the bathroom, considering the high price of the room, I feel the bathroom could do with updating as it’s very old, despite how clean it was there’s no hiding the fact that the bathroom is of a poor standard compared to the actual room itself, a real shame.

I like how quaint and clean the place is. I especially like how responsive and attentive the staff members are to our requests and needs. Their location also gives you good access to most attractions in Tagaytay. Overall, Hotel Carlito gives you more than your money's worth! 👏

One thing that threw us off is the weird smell coming from the bathroom's exhaust fan. The property manager may need to have the exhaust fans cleaned.
