The pool is a really decent size and suitable for all ages / heights. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. It was off the main road so usually quieter than most places in Alona. The overgrown cafe next door was great!

The staff need to tell people to be quiet in the pool area. There was one parent(!) in particular tormenting one of their kids and making them scream every minute for over an hour! There was no way to avoid the noise as all the rooms face the pool and it was by far the least relaxing part of my trip. Also be warned Alona is extremely commercialised and touts will harass you every 30 seconds, making for an unnecessarily stressful 10 minute walk to the beach and on the beach too! A free water refill station would be better for the environment and cheaper than the two small bottles of water each day.

It is an amazing hotel. All the staff, especially the two girls at the reception, are really really helpful and kind. The rooms are wide and clean. They have even umbrellas for guests! The restaurant and bar has fair prices (breakfast, dinner, lunch, fruits and happy hour drinks). Also good location (5min waking to the beach and close to rhe main street, but far from the noide at the same time) and they can help you to rent motorbikes or arrenge transport to airport or seaport. The common area has swimming pool, billar pool, ping pong and table football, all for free. They are really customer oriented and read the reviews. We made a suggestion and in few days they took into account. The best valeu for price in Alona. We have been there two times in 2 weeks as we travel around, and we would be there next time if we go to Alona again.

super comfy and relaxing. very comforting to stay after a long day of tour. • Room is super spacious and bed was so comfortable. • AC was strong even if the room is big. • Each room has its own veranda to chill. • They have a bar lounge if you want to drink liquors. • 5-10 min walk/away from the beach and all the establishments.

not really “Didn’t” like but more of something to consider adding for improvement: • Bidet - though shower head can be used but you have to stand up and open the switch to use it. • The standby generator - should always be ready to use. in our last day of stay, there was total blackout in the area and unfortunately, they told us that their generator was broken. • Put microwave oven in the room so we can reheat food when needed.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable with an enormous bed! The additional breakfast was tasty and the service in the bar/restaurant was good. The staff were very helpful with information about tours and rentals in the area. The swimming pool is great.

Some nights we could hear a lot of noise from the street in our room. This is not the hotel's fault, though. Alona Beach gets noisy sometimes. Some rooms on the ground floor will lack privacy, but since we had the room at the end of the row, it felt private.

It's an absolutely lovely place. The staff are so lovely and make you feel very comfortable and looked after. Everyone always has a smile and is ready to help with anything. The location is perfect - less than a 10min walk to Alona beach & all bars and restaurants. The room had everything we needed, including a coffee and tea-making station, and the bed was very comfortable. We are a couple in our 30s, but we would say it's the perfect place for any age groups, including families. Great setup of games, a pool table, table tennis, and foosbal. Also worth mentioning that the happy hour is very generous and the drinks are great! Thank you, Alona Vida hill for being our first introduction to the Philippines and its beautiful people. The service was excellent, room was clean and the bed was HUGE! Walking distance to the beach and Overgrown cafe next door is the best coffee you'll have. Really loved our stay here and will definitely be back.

If you're getting a taxi to the resort, make sure they take you to Alona Vida Beach HILL Resort (because there's an Alona Vida Beach Resort right on the water). Also the party lights on the pool were pretty bright when we were trying to get to sleep, didn't bother us but maybe bring an eye mask with you if you need complete darkness to sleep.

Alona Vida HILL Resort is a great place to stay. Located in a calm place 600 meters from Alona Beach. It offers around 14 rooms, swimming pool and jacuzzi.

The name of of the hotel published on booking.com (Alona Vida Beach Hill Resort) is misleading. There are two separate hotels: Alona Vida BEACH Resort and Alona Vida HILL Resort. Only Alona Vida BEACH Resort is located at Alona Beach! Alona Vida HILL Resort is located 600 meters from the beach.

A good resort type hotel...5 mins from Alona beach and all the restaurants. Rooms were comfortable and large. Staff were polite and welcoming.

Originally thought I had booked into another hotel, the Alona Beach Resort given the two resorts have very similar names. The rooms face the bar and reception area and are not sound proof. Woke up very early both mornings because of the noise of the staff talking very loudly to the point of almost shouting. No bidet in the bathroom and only had a sheet to sleep under...no duvet or heavy blanket.

Breakfast was good. Everything in Alona beach is more expensive compared to other islands in the area. It has become quite touristy and popular and the prices have gone up accordingly. Staff was excellent, pool was nice and good pool table and social area as well. Close to lots of restaurants but off the Main Street so more quiet.

Alona beach itself was very busy and loud at night. I only went down once and I did not enjoy it, but I was not there to party.

The staff is amazing 👏 😍, very helpful, polite and smiley. Our taxi stopped us at their sister hotel, which was about 300 m away uphill. They helped us straight away a van arrived to give us a lift to the right place, staff helped with the many and heavy suitcases. Check in and check out very quick. They arranged a taxi, and a motorbike to rent. Nice home feeling at the hotel. Very clean
